same thing. just some ppl call differently.

However, in Malaysia :

flat = cheap
apartment = decent
condominium = expensive

apartment sounds more expensive than flat.
But they are actually the same.

Flat got balcony, but at rear part, so that they can hang their shirt and panties while water dripping at pedestrian head or lower floor. Look at wangsa maju flat. They always quarrel when unit about pour water from balcony and splash on their smelly panties

^^ lol !!! must be drunk.

On paper :

Flat and apartment is literally the same. Condo is a step above.
Apartment sounds more luxurious than flat. But they mean the same thing, different words.

In Malaysia :

Flat is considered low cost building and is very cheap. Do not have security, is neither gated nor guarded and public can just walk in & out of premise. Mostly rundown and not maintained well. Shitty place.
Apartment is slightly better than flat, is more expensive and have security. Premise is guarded but may not be gated. Some may even have facilities, not all.
Condo is just as the condo we know. Mid - high end, have security, gated, guarded, swimming pool, etc, is is much more expensive than the other 2. Also have better maintanence, etc.

service apartment always about 500-1000sf, and with the ''serviced'' title, normally means they charge u higher maintenance fees for sinking la , security la, and bla bla.
but for condo, there goes another type call service serviced condo for example ''Koi Prima'' , 1000-1500sf. their similarity is = partly furnished or fully furnished.

so, for i am thinking the difference between serviced apartment and condominium.
one is the money u pay is include the furniture and u have to bear higher maint fees.

the condo, is empty house when u move in, then have common facilities like swimming pool , bbq and so forth ~ shocking.gif
