I bought the phone just to test it out, similar to the S4 and other smartphones I have bought ( if you don't know this is my hobby ). I still prefer bigger display phones , eg my Vega No6 ( 5.9 inch display is now my main phone ). The HTC One has obviously better audio quality and I love using it watching videos in bed : only at night before sleeping . Actually I'd say this phone is under utilised - will be selling it off after I get bored with it. Given a choice between S4 and it, I will pick the S4 as a preferred phone
My main usage ( 80% ) is internet based and since its 3G/wifi is weaker than S4, and too my previous Xperia Z, Note 2 - so I rarely used the HTC1 for such stuffs . Noted this seems to be HTC weakness and is consistently poorer even in my previous HTC One X, One X+, Sensation vs Samsung phones.

I'd say many people are impressed with HTC One design. I am one of those minority who is not. I do not need to follow the crowd-lah! As said before, wait till you see HuaWei Ascend P6 ( launching in London 18 Jun) - this is one phone that really impress me with its design and build. I have a brief handson testing when I met up with HuaWei execs about 2 weeks back

its strange that i found HTC one better in most expects than other samsung phones that i use to own (all flagship except S4), our view are contradict.. my last HTC phone before this was HOX (which i owned for less than 1 month only, then i skipped the other newer HTC models), having this HTC One, i feel major leap of improvement in many aspects of HTC phones.. talking about boring, Note 2 makes me bored too tho it suppose to deliver more excitement than other smartphone (functionality wised).. oh well, as always, for me the excitement is just for the first month, then already look2 for new toy.

PERSONAL PREFERENCES above all.. we always want for more...

oh ya, talking about speaker, i hate samsung speaker the most, placed at the back side, if put on table the sound become low, when playing music on my previous note 2, i always need to put the phone face down on table (thus screen protector always got scratches)

Actually all company will have it own similarity look in a batch series. But is better go for a year only, 2nd year must change.

Samsung carry over last year design to current which for me, shall did some changes.

If S4 origin is look like current S4 Active, then I won't complain so much that time, at least S4 Active look much refreshing, solid build and not so identical to last year S3 or Note II.

hmm guys.. having a bit problem. while plug into pc the usb debugging turn on automatically and window not able to find and install usb driver for my HO.

Install the HTC usb drivers separately first
Depending on windows OS to search is most tiresome
