Found this in XDA, can try see QUOTE Here's what I did. Now let me preface this as I take no responsibility for what you do or happens to your phone, yada yada, I'm just sharing what I did and what worked for me. *but looks like you need to root firstI did this on the device not on a PC and was rooted previously. Download the revone.bin from the OP. Move the file via what ever root explorer/astro/whatever. Move it to data/local/tmp Long press on the revone.bin file and check all of the Execute boxes as well as the other that are checked. I would then reboot just to make sure everything sticks. Normal reboot NOT fast boot. Once rebooted I opened Terminal Emulator. First type su to grant terminal emulator superuser permission. Then type cd /data/local/tmp Then ./revone.bin -P It should then ask you to reboot the device. Again, reboot, NOT fast boot Once it comes back up go to Terminal Emulator and do the su and cd /data steps again. Then type ./revone.bin -s 0 -u If everything went good it should tell you to reboot and and you can do a normal reboot, and NOT fastboot, or if you want to check to make sure you have s-off you can boot into your bootloader. That's just what I did. Results may very. If you have any reactions like fits of rage, a compulsion to throw your device across the room, a need to scream at me, or a desire to buy a S4, please see a physician immediately. QUOTE(canon610 @ Jun 10 2013, 02:26 PM) Actually is there any advantage of S-OFF compare to unlock bootloader? The only advantage I see on S-OFF is to change the radio but do we need it? Can any expert here advise? changing radio does not require S-Off, only if you change hboot then require S-OFf. I read other forum that you can also S-ON but unlock the boot loader, which is really what I wanted to do like change the ROM or kernel that enable us to have some new experimental features like "slide to wake". Expert opinion needed here. many thanks! If you dint s-off, you need to go thru HTC-DEV to UNLOCK your bootloader. If you S-off you does not need to go thru HTC-Dev to unlock bootloader which mean your information wont save in HTC database. And with S-OFF you can remove "Tampered" word in bootloader. |

QUOTE(devil94 @ Jun 11 2013, 11:04 AM) Reflashed with no added volume wake and APM , enable xposed , but still deepsleep not able to wake it up QUOTE(istillmyself @ Jun 11 2013, 11:21 AM) devil94, wrong wrong....flash with volume wake only, not APM. xposed is to enable APM but not volume wake so in shorts.ARHD 10.2 Flashing - volume wake = tick - APM = untick modaco toolkit - volume wake = untick - APM = tick Im using above setup, and able to use APM with volume wake even in deep sleep. |

QUOTE(dinox @ Jun 11 2013, 12:11 PM) Hi everyone, checking in with silver 32gb version. Unlock bootloader -> root -> custom rom (ARHD 10.2 or others) -> enable volume button wake. Migrated from iPhone so this android experience is really new for me what more a new phone. Would like to check with all the taiko here, is there another way to "unsleep" the phone apart from pressing the on/off button. If the button is the only way, then pening also cos not sure how durable it is. If you dowan custom rom, can use xposed with modaco toolkit, but it dont work all the time. |

QUOTE(N7100 @ Jun 14 2013, 11:59 AM) Just wanted to ask: 1) YEs1) To root the phone, do I have to unlock the bootloader? 2) To install custom Roms, do I have to unlock the bootloader> 3) If the bootloader is unlocked, is there a way to relock it to claim warranty, or if once unlocked, kiss the warranty goodbye since there will be no way to get the phone back to stock condition? 2) YES 3) Yes, even if you use HTC-Dev to unlock your device, does not mean your warranty is totally void. They will check if the cause is caused by unlocked bootloader, but just be remember there is a chance. |

To those who still blur about S-OFF or in doubt that you need it or not, an article by mike (ARHD) should clear your doubt.
