i found out that subtitle displayed using DirectVobSub is jagged and not as sharp as the one shown using the default Media Player Classic. why? i'm using the same font.

i have an MKV movie that does not comes with subtitle. I've downloaded a suitable SRT sub for it, but it doesn't shows up while playback in WMP. why?

SRT with AVI works fine though.

I'm using CoreAVC with ffdshow+vsfilter(vobsub)

^ first one usr mpc-hc with VMR7/9/EVR Renderless renderer to load subtitle, second subtitle use FFdshow or Directvobsub to load,
untested but it may works tongue.gif

tested and it works...just feel that now the video screen is crowded with text. doesn't look nice. i'll have to do with 1 sub.
