hi guys, i wanted to buy note 2, can anyone suggest me whether to buy Ap or ori set? i have read alot about the difference online, but is better if anyone here have first hand experience for ap/ori set difference. and can anyone suggest a trustable seller to get my new set? thanks!
*
Hi first off, there is NO TECHNICAL DIFFERENCE if you buy genuine sets whether it is SME or parallel import. I prefer these terms as they are the correct one.

The parallel import set depends on the seller. Where did you read online about differences?

Known sellers in LYN are SatuGadget, Alieamin and DirectD. They sell both SME and parallel import sets.

Basically this is what FD do

so from this reading it is false to assume that when RCC state shows IDLE is an indicator that operator supports FD? So the best workaround is to monitor the secril wakelock right?

That seems to be the case, but it probably doesn't fully solve the problem coz our telcos do not yet support FD.

ori only 1599 now, definitely go for that dude. But then again, if you go for AP, make sure you get it from a reputable seller like satugadget or directd.
*
yes i saw that, seems like alot ppl are suggestiing directd and satu gadget, but i cant see directd selling ap set here, maybe i will just pm them. ap set are cheaper for rm150 and longer warranty (?if not mistaken)

What does "longer warranty" really mean? It means that the seller has to carry some stock of parts. If they don't ? They could possibly replace it with some spares from other sets they have lying around.

You should read the T's & C's since the 2 years probably only applies to the mainboard.

i just do some random google. most public saying is both is same only the warranty difference.
but no one mentioned exactly how difference is the warranty.
thanks for the suggestion though, will contact both the seller to get quotation from them.

Nothing special for the price . Just picked up at 64G and a 32G a few days back in LYP for RM98 for 32G and RM199 for 64G . Add in shipping for the "discounted" price from Groupon and it's actually slightly more expensive .
