With these size, spec, & price....really cheap dou lao sai....i checked asus currently no 13.3. IMO, nec processor low at tis size n price. fujitsu 13.3, 3k is low amd ( I wan C2D ). toshiba 13.3? 4k++ -.-

Im quite keen about tis one. since T7300 is the lowest with 4mb vs T7100 2mb cache Rm 2,799

Ive read all the TH user reviews, surely bad feedback, users r as keen to post , there r handful of positive review users as well so I reckon if the warranty does cover across 3 yrs....its equally safe as other budgeted brand i wud say. since common hardware problem arose in 2006/07 i assume (i know i can b wrong) tht thgs shud be better ard tis yr but wht can do if wan spec n budget constraint

my only hope is to squeeze 3yrs out of them

PS/ Is all T7n00/8100/9n00 runs santa rosa? or it cud be predecessor to SR platform, the Napa platform? If only tis TH J13 got SR platform, then is quite an edge over many other brand T7n00.

Added on May 4, 2008, 1:13 amregarding users pessimistic fedback on its gaming capability.... i dono but even my solo core can run dota, cabalsea easily while heavy multitasking. so i dun see why C2d cant.

so if not the latest game, C2D really can handle de la.....wich mean J13 shud handle well. so i dun see wht they mean by its not a 'good gaming notebook' ( i refering to casual gaming like me. mmorpg shud run on low spec if not many cant play, defeat their profit purpose). crysis sort of hardkor gamer sure hv the $ to afford pro gaming laptop

cmon la...gaming nb not neessary must got asus stamped on it. unless its ram insufficient eg 1gb on vista. especially SR platform will change to single core operation exceeding its current Clkspd by turning low on 2nd core or sthg lik tht forget the proper name n mechanism. pls wiki SR platform so gaming is completely no problm unless hi end GC requirement wich i bet mmrpg do not req. btw, i dun do Crysis duh....

so tell me J13 is not a good gaming notbook? hello~ if the statement is true, then all mid spec brand out der cannot game too...bcuz SR platform i sure beat the others in tis dept....additionally, without hi grade GPU, there r not many games casual gamer like me will be missing

Hi, I'm new here. (I bought it a week ago) Before I bought this laptop, i checked it for a while J13S from the seller. I tested it around, it was light weight and it is like everything u needed pack into one. So, i bought it because of convenience for my work.
Until now, I don't have a problem with it, oh ya, i bought it without vista, with 2GB ram, works pretty fast and stable. It didn't need any air-con room to cool it down, since it does not generate much heat, the truth.

I installed winXP into it. The drivers are provided at it site , anti-VISTA!

The service from the web are quite good to.

To Jasonwoon: I really think u should take it up for service, or call them to replace another one. U know their website and their service location right?

Damascus2008 - I am also thinking of getting this Twinhead J13S laptop as I think it's the best deal for the specs in the market for the price. I'm just worried about the quality.

So, my question is...how is it since you've been using it for about a month now. What about the heat & the battery performace, since these were supposedly the weak points of the laptop. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

i am twinhead user too.....my 'first blood' of laptop was pawn by TWINHEAD...waht a suprise ...my twinhead never spoild before even i had purchase it for 4 years ++ until now and i just treat it like my normal house desktop cos always lazy close and want download things...then no close for few day...the only problem from this lappy is heat problem(damm farking hot at the side u placing hand especially at left hand side of the picture)..My model is Efio 14A...Below is the pic of my 'pet'

Honestly,i now got 1 dellstudio 15 and asus f8vr which i purchase not long ago...prefer the asus unit..not bad .But the company selling it ..zzz SUCK it the only word for them

Anyway ..will TWINHEAD ur first blood too ?? LOL

I m new to this forum.. Read the previous posts.. A friend of mine recomennded Twinhead, so i bought 1.. Been using twinhead (H12Y) for a year ++ already.. Never cause me any problem.. The laptop is still fine and the battery still last for 3:45 hours max.. Well, I can say that thumbs up for twinhead..

the problem is the heat on the beside the touch pad there .. plan to get new laptop but parent do not allow .....
