i got maybank account in malaysia. banks dont allow me to open an account as yet before i get my EP card. and i didnt change enough RM in msia to bring over to sg. is it possible for me to go maybank SG and ask them for my money? thanks! i need them to put down deposit and to pay for my rent before my first pay..

just go to any maybank SG atm and use your maybank malaysia atm card to withdraw sgd.

If you got P1 EP or PEP then surely can get after 1 year. Less than that also probably no problem

any recommendation of remittance to send $5000+ to malaysia bank account? Will they charge high fee or just $10?

Best rate is change money and take over the border, bank in at JB. Alternatively use money changer remittance services, or Maybank or cimb I guess.
