not really one for the movie characters, but the recent saber ones from medicom (not exactly high end either right) are making my heart aflutter!

two questions for the vets here - are they any good (ie quality wise) and would it be cheaper to get them from say amiami plus tax or from the local suppliers? and which local supplier?

sorry that's three questions instead of two. Thanks!

If you're refering to this Saber:
user posted image

1. Design-wise female bodies differ than males, from the point of lasting it should be better than the males. I've not seen one female body failed yet. Any failures I can repair easily (even mod it to be better).

2. Medicom's Saber (pic reference) uses dark fabric, no "pleather", and PVC armors.... both would not rot or disintegrate. Evaluate a figure base on material/design it uses.

3. Compare and contrast.... most of the time Amiami + Tax + shipping is still cheaper than local suppliers.... Shipping for medicom using SAL small-packet registered is generally below 2k yen.... 1.3 to 1.5k (most of the time)

This figure (below) on the other hand might be prone to pleather rot...

dont worry, bcos saber is cloth material, unlike the leather material, it easi to defect especially in HOt country.
The only thing if u get saber is prepare another nude body for her.

I bought my Shadowmoon (rubber ammor), both arm broke when i open it. Then need to paid extra to get a new HT nude body & operation surgeries for 2 times to make it done.

RAH product expensive, lack of accesories, poor quality but Medicom good many Good licenses. cry.gif

I beg to differ... male RAH bodies are differently designed than the RAH females... one does not equate one to the other, beside compatibility issues to fit female bodies of other brand.

U'll be fine with the default RAH female body.... So says BeastX (Godfather/Dissector/Autopsist of 12" bodies).....

Design rather than material.... both are basically ABS material... but females has a PVC/Rubber outer cover torso, covering internal ABS "endoskeleton".
