I think XL might got problem in the shipment.
But suspecting maybe this is the rumors spread out by some party which want to fry up the price.
and purposely cut the order, maintain the stock to be able to fry up to higher price.

Sigh...can't blame anyone on this, just blame why Mark 7 so hot...damn! cry.gif

i've collected my mk7 yesterday noon at xl midvalley. there were 7 boxes remaining on the floor next to the counter. initially thought of collecting it today but when i rang them up yesterday, the response i got from them wasn't that positive. so no choice rushed there and in the end i was 1.5hrs late from my appointment at putrajaya!

wait, Mk7 gonna reissue, or gonna release 2.0 (diecast) ver.
One of the reason of high demand on ironman is due to the market enlarge & Request in CHINA mainland.

I saw ebay & taobao PO got cut. Some dishonest seller cut the PO & open another new account to fry up the price. Well, ironman still have it value & it was a gold mine for HT.

sabar, sabar.

I agree with you.

If so, one would not label the Video as "Mk. VII being stolen"

That would be stupid of the distributor to pay additional charge on the shipping costs, considering the bulk of the half-empty boxes sweat.gif

i think they those reputable supplier also got buy the insurance if really stole.. simply refund by given excuses cut stock due to stolen.. tis is really unfair to customer who paid PO.. if tis cases allowed, will it be stolen 2.0 and so on??

sometimes just need to PO with slightly higher price with a reliable shop to avoid such incident. but sometimes worth taking the risk with a cheaper price and being very lucky in the end

Yeah..i think they hav insurance cover this..
since the boxes all sealed wit ht tapes nicely before unboxing..the culprit maybe those who hav extra ht tapes to double tape it back after open.. sweat.gif

If that video is indeed confirmed XL-shop, that is already the "slightly higher price with a reliable shop" tag biggrin.gif

But if you look carefully how they use the blade to cut open the box, they dun cut from 1 end to the other. They just simply cut at the center and the box can open already.

yup, 0.35 second, if u notice it, the end of the side part automatic pop up (abit strange). Which mean it have been open bfore. some one maybe use transparent tape to retape back, the quality of the video poor. hard to see it out.

owh yes ... transparent tape ... that should do it .. probably why they video record it .. from difference of weight from the boxes .. and suspicious transparent double tape on the box ... i hope they can claim the lost back .. items or money ..
really bad ..

not sure if the items taken from kastam or delivered to their xl hq...
if at kastam, they can inspect them on the spot.. usually kastam will ask to open the box for checking ..

i think high chance the mk7 already stolen before it arrived in malaysia

I think what we see here is just a surface story, nobody knows what actually happen behind.
Price and value drive behind, money rules everything. shocking.gif
