does having un-opened booster packs in inventory reduces the chance of getting new booster packs?

you may get it this week and you may not get it the next week

the higher level you are the better chances of getting one per week

Once eligible, your Steam Level increases your rate of receiving a booster pack drop:
Level 10: +20% increase in your drop rate
Level 20: +40% increase in your drop rate
Level 30: +60% increase in your drop rate
Level 40: +80% increase in your drop rate
Level 50: +100% increase in your drop rate (i.e. the rate has doubled)
Etc.

if the weekly dropping rate for booster packs is 10%

then i will haz 12% to get booster, while u haz 14%.

my level is still the same as yours 40% chance of getting one booster pack

so unless i level to 30 then i get higher chance of getting booster

below lvl 10 probably under 10% chance

my level is 10 - 20 la. i am +20% while you are +40%

are you saying at level 50, we have 100% to get booster pack per week? cannot be la.

Level 10: +20% increase in your drop rate
Level 20: +40% increase in your drop rate
Level 30: +60% increase in your drop rate
Level 40: +80% increase in your drop rate
Level 50: +100% increase in your drop rate

if the default drop rate is 10% to drop per week, then at level 50, it means 20% to drop.

10% +100% = 20%

oh i thinking you were lvl20

the drop rate also depend on steam community contributing as well, the more ppl craft/buy cards from marketplace higher chance booster will drop to balance out the marketplace

otherwise marketplace will be flooded with booster pack if booster will drop every week

so ... as more cards are removed from the pool (market place, everyone's inventory) via crafted into badges, the higher chance for booster packs to drop hor?

so i am not helping out by hoarding so many cards lul.

this means i should not keep my booster pack as well? open them up, craft badges, remove more cards so booster pack may have higher chance to drop?

or just screw it, wait for others to craft them trolololol.

well one person craft does not make much of the diff since steam have over 4mil user

i also keeping mine as well for now, will craft them into badge when summer sales end

^ can't dump too much into marketplace reaching my limit soon and steam still haven't reply with the verification

And the prices are horrible now. Alan Wake cards only worth $0.27 at the lowest while highest is like $0.35.
