Morning. Anyone going to Amcorp Mall this morning?

I'm going there for a quick barter trade / COD around 10:30 am with BOMer for mini haul today.

Too early. Not many stalls open yet.

I think he set up stall at another place today. Last week saw him in the middle store. Today at a corner.

Oh wow. See some poisoning stuff .......

I got a black Ninja for testing sometime back. Head piece doesn't snap and hold in place. If you pick up the minifig by the head, body will just drop off.

Bricks from other parts (some spinner thing i guess) don't snap together well. Not satisfying for me

The Turtles look tempting though.

Hmm, those people posting pics from LLM. Makes me feel like going and browsing for hours.

Got the whole set of Turtle action figures from the animated movie a few years back. Don't wanna start LEGO one.

Off topic - but what about the figures? Or just got the vehicles?

Yup. Can't remember how much per figure I bought. Think it was around RM 30 each. Now they reissue all 80s cartoon figures with better sculpt and articulation. Got the Thundercats Lion-O from Giant at bargain price few months back.

The He-Man ones look nice too but expensive cause exclusive (oops. One of Bro Alby's hated word)

Was on a movie collectibles buying phase once upon a time.

I hate to admit it but I'm pushing mid-30s. Damn.

Yes, I was. Hard to arrange to meet all people on the same day. I think this is the 3rd consecutive weekend I've been there.

I'm only collecting certain minifigures - not all. I'm (trying!) to stick to only specific themes and only getting the ones with designs that I like.

There were some other Star Wars stuff, especially restock of the 9493 - X-Wing Starfighter (which I've also seen at 1Utama TRU over the weekend)

Sorry bro. Didn't notice the LOTR pirate ships. TRU staff were still stocking up the shelves.

I was kinda excited to see new stuff and completely forgot to look for the ship. But if it already arrived, I didn't see it displayed yet.

Sometimes, people (like me!) haul first and pay later. Gotta cut down on credit card spending.

But so far, past couple of weeks was getting local resellers. I'd probably buy from you guys and spend much more if I'm not fighting temptations all the time!

It's also a blessing I'm quite selective with my themes (for now!). Wishlist not getting any shorter.

Was at TRU 1U again today. Didn't notice or realized that they numbered the CMF. Saw a couple picit picit today.

The thing is, I noticed this over the past few visits - Lone Ranger sets slowly disappearing off the shelves at the 2 places I've been to today - TRU and AEON 1U. Not as fast as the Superhero sets though. Not a single Iron Man or Man Of Steel set in TRU. A couple of big ones left at AEON (Battle Of Smallville).

It has very nice warm colors, like Rivendell's supposed to be

I think the soft autumn colors is what draws me to this set. And yes, Arwen too. And perhaps Agent Smith .......I mean Lord Elrond.
