They only said we do not accept AMEX card here. Only VISA and Mastercard!

Never used AMEX there before as I staying in KL....come here for work biggrin.gif

if only AMEX usage here in M'sia is as widely accepted as in SG...
maybe cos most ppl here thinks that Amex labeled cc is still a charge card like Diner's Club, hence lower acceptance here...

i think most merchants still don't know that Visa/Mastercard has raised their rates so think Amex still higher

probably true..
would like to see more banks to incorporate Amex branding
so far i can see maybank & citibank only...hence lower acceptance.

even that day i go photocopy my amex card, the shopkeeper say i blardy rich since using amex sweat.gif

From my experience, most restaurant and butique not accept AMEX. While almost all outside petrol pump and supermarket accept AMEX.

Any comment from AMEX user here?
