is it normal for all petron and petronas to accept amex? i have yet to encounter one that rejects it.
*
never tried Petron, but Petronas/Shell generally accepts AMEX. same as you, i havent encounter one that rejects AMEX. only when somehow the fuel dispenser/cc terminal is down, i go into the outlet to manually swipe. No rejection either.

*

QUOTE(Duckies @ Aug 7 2014, 09:51 AM)
Oh? U mobile also have 5% rebate? Hmm..interesting. Only applies on weekend right?

How about utilities bill like electric and water bill?
*
amex 5% cashback easy wan. as long as you transact in weekend, get it liao.

electricity (TNB) can be easily paid in M2U and charge to AMEX card (again, do it during weekend) . Water SYABAS not in M2U/Amex. i wonder how others pay using Amex smile.gif

Hi guys,

for Umobile... how do i pay via AMEX... i've checked the M2U, no option to pay UMobile with Amex.

how guys??
*
last time u mentioned about paying Digi, Maxis, UMobile, Astro, Unifi, TNB etc

since Maxis @ Sunway Pyramid accepts Amex (i hope it still do), then you can pay U Mobile @ Pyramid too (i tried it before). Not sure about Digi, but nearest would be SS2 (from Pyramid).

Pay Astro @ Mid Valley smile.gif

Unifi and TNB using M2U (select Amex) <-- I use this method, easiest evarrr.

Between MV and Pyramid, try the Digi centres/kiosks there to see whether Amex is accepted. This way, you only need to visit 2 malls in a month to settle all your bills.

need some legwork to hunt for amex acceptance. This topic is where ppl have tried, failed or successfully, and shared for our benefits smile.gif

not to forget to search this topic for other updates. i might missed them out wink.gif

cheers!

i guys, when I tried to pay for streamyx unifi bills..it gives me this error:

Status: Unsuccessful - Invalid bill account/reference number. Reject code: [0087]

I did the checking, the bill account number and registered bill name is correct. I paid under Telekom Telephone and Multimedia.

Additionally, paying JPJ/PDRM saman with AMEX...got rebate?
*
bold part above: streamyx and unifi are two different payees.

in M2U, there are 3 telekom payees:

Telekom Malaysia Berhad - Streamyx
Telekom Malaysia Berhad - Telephone & Multimedia
Telekom Malaysia Berhad - UniFi

each of these have different bill account number format.

system down or offline kot hmm.gif

on a relevant note and abit OT, yesterday, I was trying to swipe my mbb2card visa (amex not accepted), also cannot go thru. Terminal keep failing. resorted to HLB Wise instead. vmad.gif at least i can get 1x points with mbb2card visa, using Wise was useless cuz non-Category merchant.
