U15 Red and White *LTE FDD 2600/1800/2100/800Mhz
2600 and 1800 had been proven for both models.
Anyway, currently I can't really help on LTE as my location didn't support LTE yet

Anyway if you want to know 2600Mhz is spotty, 2600Mhz got lower signal penetration compared to 1800Mhz
This explains why |

QUOTE(un.deux.trois @ May 30 2013, 12:25 PM) Got the e398 modem and tested. Impressive speed. But LTE coverage at my location (Bangsar South) is pretty poor. The connection gets terminated every now and then. Maybe I should get an antenna? Try forcing your modem to LTE 1800Mhz as generally got better signal penetrationElse you need to hunt for a nice spot This post has been edited by blacktubi: May 30 2013, 12:32 PM |

QUOTE(un.deux.trois @ May 30 2013, 04:44 PM) How do I choose the frequency and lock to the frequency? In the Mobile Partner interface I downloaded from your siggy, under Network in Options I can only choose Auto, 2g, 3g or LTE. I cannot find the option to choose the frequency. Owh, you might need to head to my [WTS] Huawei E398 thread or the WIKI I have the MDMA links posted there |

QUOTE(fitzhex @ May 31 2013, 10:11 PM) will take quite a while.. most site lte still on testing. the person i chat he now at sabah do testing there Huawei E3276, come with a Huawei self developed HiLink chip only when lte well established i think they will upgrade it well, if that new speed, this e398 can throw away and replace with? Signal reception - Latency - Performance + This is the comparison to E398. Can't blame the signal, E398 is very scary on signal reception Maybe Huawei will release a firmware soon to boost the power amplifier |
