QUOTE(chrisep @ Aug 13 2013, 12:52 PM) hi ppl, I have requested for public IP from Maxis and they have approved it. however this public IP is only assigned whenever I am connected to the 3G network. If I am connected to LTE, the private IP is assigned without fail. I expect this public IP activation should work independently from the network connected though and I should have a public IP also when connected to LTE. anyone experienced this? and if yes, were you able to solve it? and if yes, how? Please use unetp as APNUpdate me does it fix your issue, I need Public IP soon |

QUOTE(digilife @ Aug 14 2013, 12:11 AM) iP5 replacement battery not expensive wat , < rm100 from distributor Sell it when iP5S released and upgrade just buy a new battery if it sucks iPhone resale value is high and I don't think it is significantly noticeable outright Nowadays battery efficiency is good |

P2P time is stated on Maxis on TOS
Sometime the gate doesn't open on time, sometime it open earlier and sometime they forget to close the gate, sometime doesn't open at all I recommend torrentflux from this guy, he is really a nice guy, only some of us know why https://forum.lowyat.net/user/Safar |

QUOTE(sanosizo @ Aug 15 2013, 07:34 PM) right now my e5331 is showing it's connected to hspa+ at 4 bar strength. but I'm only getting between 600k to 1.5mbps. am I getting throttled or am I getting trolled? lol From first postQUOTE What is the capped speed : 64Kbit/s. I suggest you read the page on "Factors that affect network performance" One good recommendation is get a better modem |

QUOTE(hidayatte @ Aug 15 2013, 06:52 PM) thanks guys... my unifi contract is going to expire on October. Tak larat dah nak bayar RM199 per month. But I'm not sure whether is this LTE is a good option for video streaming my netflix at home in Ampang. For Netflix up to Super HD only 7Mbit required. Until today LTE congestion is still okay |

QUOTE(CyrusWong @ Aug 16 2013, 01:35 AM) did maxis disable the tethering or slow down your speed if tethering ? Dead pings usually means throttlethese few days i getting no internet responses no ping responses when i plug & use my mf680 in 3420 , very very bad internet experiences , most of the ping are dead , when ping come alive , only for few seconds then all dead again , but fine when direct plug & use in pc .... so weird Not sure, my MiFi doesn't face this now. Try contact Maxis and ask for a reset of your network. |
