Dear all,
I've been offered scholarships by both Nilai International College and TARC. Details are as below:

Nilai International College - 4+0 Foundation and Bachelor Degree in Accounts
TARC - 2 years Diploma in Business Studies (Accounting)
2 years Advanced Diploma (Renewable if good CPGA)

I'm still in dilemma of which college to go for. There are pros and cons studying in both colleges; management wise, lecturer, facilities, environment etc. Can anybody help me out with that?

Enviroment wise, both are good.
Facilities, TARC is overcrowded infact, NIC have a better ratio of facilities:students.

Personally I would go for NIC's.
Guaranteed a 4 years scholarship for a Degree, whereas TARC only until advance diploma, and have to transfer to other Uni for a degree later on.

Erm, it is the college neat Inti College Malaysia right?

If it is... avoid it, thats where the dropout from Inti College goes.... Is that a sign of good college?

i read from newspaper

50 % of accountants in msia came from tarc
after the adv diploma
u can go overseas for the degree i think

the reason ppl dislike tarc is bcos the college consists of maybe 95 % chinese
and most of them speak mandarin and not english

if u go to the notice board at school of business studies at tarc
u can see lotsa awards won by the Accounting students .....beating some universities and colleges

FYI, even the student speak in mandarin, but the course still conduct in English. Even the leacture also teach in English, and futhermore students in TARC are encourge to speak English. So, come to the end, you must improve your english yourselves

kueks is right,
But TARC are low profile college, they never announce so and so won whatever awards, unlike institutes like Sunway Uni Coll.

TARC is a fully mandarin speaking enviroment, but there are also those who speaks english la.. but majority. Not to mention, it's actually overcrowded also sad.gif

1 more thing people think about TARC is that, it's a cheap college, and therefore, dont have the so-called cool look rclxub.gif

So, in terms of reputation, TARC would be a better choice, whereas NIC is so-called cool, and yeah, it's not so crowded like TARC. But the last time i went to NIC, there are alot of chinese from china who speaks mandarin.

Im from tarc....for accounting course at tarc not dat bad la.....now their student also trying to speak in english...yet it is more chinese but not all speak in mandarin la...i noe many of them also speak in english...now the new intake student talk more in english compare with my batch..

tarc is half support from government so the fees is cheaper than other college...if u r rich u go for other colleges lo...tarc fees is cheap but the student is rich..all drive to college...

so far accounting course, if u wan degree u got to go oversea lo (js for tarc)...but after diploma u can choose either go utar or stay at tarc...tarc js until advanced diploma but utar is degree (if im not mistaken)...
