What is the playerbase from M'sia on US servers now (about 14 months after release)?

Anyone still around or just started recently?

BTW, feel free to ask any questions about anything related to WoW (Alliance side preferrebly).. weapons, tactics, farming areas, boss strategies etc.. I will try my best to offer some advice.

I have a lvl 60 paladin on Blackrock which i have raided with in one of the top guilds of the server (alliance side). We clear MC with 35ppl in 3 hours and 15 minutes, BWL in 3.5 hours on a good day and Ony in 7 mins average (4-5mins fastest).

Basically, i have seen all the end game content up to c'thun stage 2, so i might b able to help with some issues that anyone might be facing.

Started work, so taking a break indefinetly from WOW. Might transfer to a server with more Malaysians when open transfers are imlpemented for a fee. Changed my mind about selling account, sorry admin/moderator, didnt read forum rules b4 posting.

Well, i've started playin wow during it's initial release christmas 2004, didn't really started playin untill last year october last year, my guild is currently only at vael, i'm a shadowpriest, and having no problems with it. i've a question i've read numerous posting of shadowpriest in high end guilds but yet to see any high end guilds in my server, proudmoore taking any, what about blackrock?

I'll be honest with u, holy priests can contribute much more in terms of healing in endgame dungeons. Therefore, u will find that being flexible in respeccing to holy will make u much more marketable to better guilds. However, generally priests are well accepted and sought after by all guilds big or small. Should u choose not to respec holy, it will be advisable to never be in shadowform while learning an encounter, or while raiding a dungeon that the guild is not consistent at clearing yet.

If u enjoy being a dpspriest, imho, do it on ur own time, and not at the expense of a few raid members or the entire raid.

PS. Dwarf priests are > than any other alliance race priest coz of fearward in pve.

on the contary...for my guild in Dark Iron, we do MC with pretty much a full squad for shadow priest.. which is 5 pure shadow spec priests and 1 disc priest. i have no idea why this is so, and i believe holy priests are better in raids cuz they got more mana...we only got 1 warrior as our main tank and our other 2 off tanks are feral druids....and we still manage to complete MC in about 4-5 hours.....

so...i think the way u play ur respective characters is more important. just having a cookie cutter character doesnt make u a good player smile.gif.

right now im in jubei thos...

Well, you can afford to use a full squad of shadow priests for MC because its not hard. I assure you that u wont go far with a full squad of shadow priests in BWL or AQ40. The healing that ur MT will be needing is insane.

Good guilds will know that priests, pallies and druids role in raids is strictly healing and cleansing (decursing, blessing etc..). DPS will be left to DPS classes = rogues, warriors, mages, hunters. So, theres no need really for any of the healing classes to 'help' with dps. 1 or 2 Shadow priests out of 6-8 priests during a raid might not have much impact on healing in MC or Ony, but will be in BWL and AQ40 content.

The best way to make a decision on whether its alright to be in shadowform for a raid is to see how many people are dead after each raidboss. IMO, if its more than 5, you need to heal more than dps.

AQ40 pretty much needs BWL or at least MC gear. Priests without 10k+ (or close to 10k) mana buffed will find that they will not have enough mana to last the encounters (TwinEmps specifically). Also, if your MT isnt topped up at all times at 10k hp during 2Emps, its GG (unbalancing strike hits you for 6000+ damage with 9k armor).

I started playing this early Feb (late starter... LOL) and have gotten my Mage to 50 and Warrior to 28 so far with work commitments and all.  I had my eye on the Glowing Brightwood Staff but recently it seems no one is selling it.  My question is... should I save my hard earned gold on something else if I do happen to stumble upon this fantastic staff on sale?

Thanks in advance!  Oh btw I play on Aggramar with 6 other Malaysians all of which are my RL friends.  Kinda got each other hooked on WOW.  Hehehe!

GBS was good in its day, but as someone said, dont waste gold on it unless its a bargain. Go with Rod of the Ogre Magi (DM North), raid with a good guild to get something to replace.. Azuresong Mageblade etc. Just my 2c.

Yeah.. i just went over the weekend coz my home connection was all screwy, prolly due to the cable bocor like what tm.net.my said. Anyways, autosurf's connection was between 300-500 on average with so many ppl playing. z0mgwtfhax..

Cheap also.. took a 3 hour package for rm5. Theres 6 and 9 hours package too..and dont have to restart PC after time runs out.. just go to the counter to top up the normal rate or another package.

Edit: Also found out that they sell top up cards at RM115...Pro
