In Japan many private companies operate subway trains. Maybe that can be the solution for MRT3.

No one will know the actual location now as land aquistion just started.

Ok. I thought it’s quite firm and the info is somewhere out there, as alignment and stations have been named. I guess companies like Ho Chin Soon should be able to make good estimates.

For S05 Bukit Segambut, this is roughly the coverage of the dot in MRT Corp map.

Very good news for BRDB assuming they still own the big land covered by trees.
Above the ground there shouldn’t be a need for big building as the station is underground.

This sounds logical because it’s a high income area

Reduced land acquisitions from 1012 to 690 lots means the alignment are shifted more along the highways or public spaces such as parks.
Another very unlikely reason is that they moved elevated rail to underground.
BTW anyone has the update of the alignments and stations?

Look under Network in this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MRT_Circle_Line

No more Mont Kiara station, to be served by Bukit Segambut station.

Another observation is that the MRT3 has another interchange stn with MRT1 at Bkt Kiara Selatan stn.
This is a new stn of MRT1.

It’s an important interchange. Good for klgcc mall too.
