I can tell it is impossible to build an itx rig with only RM500 of budget.
Good luck if u can find anything cheap components.

it RM500+-, so if need to top up the budget, still can consider it. I just want the small build. icon_question.gif

RM500 too little for mini ATX build.

Intel Pentium G2020 Dual Core - RM169
Asrock H61M VS3 - RM139
Corsair Value Ram 4GB DDR3 1600MHz - RM109
WD Caviar Blue 500GB HDD - RM164
Xigmatek Helios 231 Casing - RM109
Gigabyte PoweRock 420W PSU - RM95
Lite-On 24x DVDRW – RM59

Total – RM844 (prices are from Viewnet)

The spec is good enough to handle things u mentioned.
However, u need to change the mobo to ITX one to fit in Jonsbo V2 case.

any recommendation with similar price range? icon_question.gif

Intel Pentium G2020
Kingston DDR3 2GB x 2
WD Green 2TB HDD
Jonsbo V2 with 300W PSU

For the rig above which mobo better?
Sapphire Pure H61 or MSI B75IA-E33

This rig is for watch HD movie (720p or 1080i) and downloading.

Or If I want to change the CPU and Mobo to AMD build, any suggestion for CPU and Mobo? icon_question.gif

I didn't know that we have Sapphire mobos in Malaysia  blink.gif

Between the two, I'd vote for MSI B75IA-E33
