[Budget] Within RM1.5k

[Purpose] Daily Use for Web Browse, watch video, sometimes gaming.

[Hardware that will be reuse from old rig] Sandisk Ultra 128GB SSD, Crucial M4 64GB SSD, ViewSonic 19inch Wide LCD (1680x1050), Mouse,KB, DVD-RW Drive Possibly, 4x USB PCI Expansion Port

[Monitor resolution] 1680x1050

[Game or software that use frequently] Firefox, Youtube, Metro Last Light, L4D2

[Personal Preference Brand] as long within my budget.

[Location] PJ

Actually still sort of torn between a good desktop set up or good laptop, but my instincts telling me I can get a good desktop with that budget. It will be more worth than getting a laptop, is it? :/ I do gaming but not always maybe just 3-4 times in a month. Just wanna finish the story lol. My Current rig as per siggy below kinda low for today gaming sad.gif Can manage to run Metro but on 800x600 with low settings (ugly T_T)

Hi Guys I need recommendation on a rig but the processor must be I5-3570k(RRP RM589 from Viewnet)

My Budget Around 1k just for mobo, proc, ram, hdd.
Is it possible or it is mission impossible? :/

Or any other AMD rig suggestion? Total Budget would be RM1,500 without GPU rig. smile.gif

Why buy a 3570k when on a tight budget like that you would struggle to get a good mobo to overclock with and an aftermarket cooler? A 3470 would have been a better choice on a budget.
*
err not for me actually my friend who wanted it. :/ I already got an 3570k biggrin.gif
Cuz for future use can OC ba comparing it to 3470 for future use. :/
So I guess kinda impossible to get 3570k ba? I'll let him know. But with his budget is it possible to get with a Modular or Semi Modular PSU?

Sure. Motherboard can support 5.1 also. Oh, and I recommend R9 280X, slightly cheaper and on par performance with GTX 770. smile.gif

Intel Core i5 4440 - RM559
Asrock B85M Pro4 – RM285
Corsair Value Ram 8GB DDR3 1600MHz - RM229

Ohh but after some consideration cuz he's putting the rig on the living room I decided to go with Prodigy ITX build. Is this okay?
I5-4440 = RM559
Asrock B85M-ITX -RM289
8GB DDR3 Ram - RM229
Leadtek gtx760/Zotac GTX760 -RM 799
1tb hdd wd blue - RM189
6SF Golden Green HX600W Gold 80+ Modular -RM299
prodigy white window -RM310

Mind if I ask if the 1TB HDD, it is the same price no matter its 2.5/3.5inch?

Oh ya, why don't you choose the new GPU from AMD? Sapphire R9 290 for RM1499 / Gigabyte R9 290 for RM1449. Better than GTX770.
*
that FSP Hexa 500w is sufficient for i5-4440 with Sapphire R9 290 too? o_o still deciding on psu and that's on my list. ^^
