ITX is possible, just change the mobo will do. But any reason for an itx mobo, because it has very limit expansion slots. And in-built sound chips still not as good as the ones like pcie type imo.
Then maybe a GTX760 from Leadtek RM799, then should have enough budget for sound card and others.

actually going Itx is not simple compared to mATX, as hmwgbworld said, the smaller form limits future expansions and the suggested specs is really good enough for your friend's usage, if you're thinking of downgrading the Gtx770 you could but do not skimp on the PSU...you may save a few more $$$ by going with the FSP Raider 650W though, RM269 for an 80+ silver PSU is not bad

Nicely optimized, you're good to go. You can also consider modular PSU; Rosewill Hive 650M which costs around RM299 or even cheaper.

TJ08E is overpriced, should be somewhere around RM350 or less, RAM as well.
