Still no budget? NVM will let you off the hook for once, and for the record.. its a PC or RIG... not CPU

Try

Intel Core i5 3470 RM559
MSI B75MA-P45 RM229
Kingston Value RAM 4GB RM94
Plextor M5S 128GB SSD RM299
Sapphire HD7970 trixx edi RM1349
Seasonic SII 620W RM299
BitFenix Shinobi Window RM219

Total RM2679

should be able to play on ultra  whistling.gif

this is OK if u can OC. and dont forget add a cpu cooler on it.

since u got such budget, u can go for haswell and GTX770 (10-15% better than GTX680, but price almost the same)
*
Which haswell already available?

Just throw out the HDD on the list and you're good to go.. wink.gif

Can also consider Zotac GTX770 2GB AMP! Edition which comes with better performance and nice cooling fans..and cheap summore brows.gif

I was under the impression that for gaming, the bulk of the processing is done by the GPU. So i wonder if i can cut cost by using very expensive GPU but with mid range CPU like i3.

Is HAF X a good casing? i have a look at it at a computer shop today and it's as big as a workstation. What's the advantage of this casing to justify such a huge size.

No obvious performance increase if u switch to performance ram for gaming. If u opt for 1080p gaming, single GTX770 / 780 is kinda sufficient, switch to it save u roughly 1k. biggrin.gif
