Hi guys,recently I bought a new rig with following specs

core i3 3220
Asrock B75-DGS
FSP Hexa 500W
Kingston 4GB RAM
WD BLUE 500GB

As above,the WD blue is old one which I been used for one year+,it is set to IDE mode,so I change the bios there to IDE mode but yet still cant boot to windows,keep black screen with underline blink,anyone can help?

Budget : around 2k
Purpose : normal gaming (LoL, the sims etc..) and work (programming, editing)

guys can you recommend any parts (MOBO, Ram, PSU etc) that goes with the hd7970, my budget is around 1,5k. no need for monitor & SSD. tq very much

Expensive Mobo is not necessary?
For cooling , I don't really turn off my computer so i think imma get a cooler for it~
and SSD is kinda ex and small size despite it is fast

hi guys, regarding my friend's rig, as suggested by mr CheaTeRz,
he asked me, if he have an extra RM300 more, which is wiser for him to change,
- CPU (to Xeon E3 1230 V3) or
- mobo (to better chipset, maybe B85?)
- GPU (he stress to me he dun play high end game, might be a waste to upgrade according to him )
- or better get an SSD?

review back his usage: lots of photo editing software (photoshop/illustrator/lightroom) with occasional gaming (dota 2, pes)

hi guys, just wanna ask shud i buy nvidia cards right now or shud i wait till new nvidia cards are released? i can wait, just that not sure ho much the new released card price range would be cause i might just afford rm1000+ gpu

780ti is new released but most probably 2k plus.. and i prefer nvidia cause had bad experience with amd

Hi guys,was playing battlefield 4 and I had set the settings to ultra but the graphic card seems cant handle it as it distorted in the halfway playing.here is the hwmonitor screenshoot of playing for about half an hour Using U2312HM monitor and ASUS R9 280x dcuii top Is it needed to upgrade to R9 290 to support this game? :S
