Haha, I know for a fact that there are Taiwan made sets there. My friend works there. I saw the stocks yesterday. About 7 silvers and 5 blacks. There were a mix of both China made units and Taiwan made units

Is your unit.... smooth like the one on demo there?

Yeah the chinese guy with specs with the honest look. But he has hair la, not bald or shaved. Hahaha. Anyway, yeah mine is made in China too. Mine is not as smooth as the Taiwan made set. Yeah, I noticed that the demo set had a small gap on the top. But other than that, the demo set is quite good.

Well, this is not conclusive, but the Taiwan sets that I have gotten my hands on have smoother backs and plastic sides. The China made set, the one that I own, feels more rough in comparison.

Lol, you sounded as if you took a gamble with your purchase. Where did you get it from? And what was your previous phone?

I have a feeling it's the Butterfly 2 instead.

I just hope HTC doesn't follow the path of Samsung. All their phones from the S3 to the Note 2 and everything in between sports a similar design language. It's good for recognition, but bad for diversification and creative new bold designs.

Weird. I used to have that problem too. Facebook photos showing in my gallery. I already unticked the option to show facebook photos. No difference. Got my phone on the 10th of May.

But ever since yesterday, the facebook photos stopped appearing in my gallery anymore. And yes, I am still using the facebook app.

My unit has the same issues like yours

I told you I unticked the options in the gallery to not show my facebook photos. But the facebook photos were still being displayed from 10th of May.... until yesterday it just stopped showing. So I still have the friends facebook photo column in my gallery now, but it's black and there are no photos in it anymore. It's not even capable of being opened coz it's empty.

Yes. It does click if I press mine on the centre. If I press it on either sides, it doesn't make a clicking sound.

It takes pretty long to reach 100% for the first week of charging. It speeds up after that

To check weather your phone is original or china clone:

Open settings ... about device....android version--- 4.1.2 or something like that--- quickly tap 3 times on 4.1.2--- jelly bean will appear--- press long on bean--- many small jelly beans appear moving on screen then it means true jellybean operating system.

Check kernel version under about device in settings---- numbers ended with #1 is qc (Quality Control) passed phone for market. #2 #3 are qc failed lower grade, bad quality phones.

I checked on my phone & it shows that jelly bean is original.

But the QC number I get is #2. when i asked the shopkeeper, he checked his other handsets in stock and they also had #2/#3 in them. (Poor man didn't know how to check the quality of a phone) So, at end it means that I got a handset with #2 Quality Control. But the shopkeeper from whom I bought my phone got entire stock of BAD quality.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

DO CHECK THE QUALITY AND ORIGINALITY OF YOUR DEVICE BEFORE BUYING BECAUSE U WILL PAY THE SAME AMOUNT FOR A GOOD QUALITY PHONE AS WELL AS A BAD 1."

Just use it as usual. Charge when you sleep or when you're not using it for a period. The charging time should stabilise in a week

1 day and 2 hours is not enough for u?

Anyway, what's your usage and screen on time?
