Among wishlist for this (as per rumours) is the Win 8 GDR3 update so that it introduces 1080p screen and quad core + battery optimizations.
Can't wait for the reviews.

QUOTE(SJ Chua @ Jul 14 2013, 10:47 PM) With contract. That probably means its locked to AT&T. Doubt they'll sell unlocked units so soon (on the Microsoft store). |

Sept or Oct not too bad. The reviews would have come and dissected everything about the 1020 and best is that we can read about the first 3 month user issues / break-in period and then decide if it's worthy.

QUOTE(sean.88 @ Jul 15 2013, 07:35 PM) True. For me it would be for WP8 (provided the camera performance is on par with the 808PV). Read all the review and determine if it's worthy or not. Jz wondering if it is worthy to upgrade from 808PV or not... Wider aperture, BSI, OIS... The fluidity of browsing, UI, "general" usage > symbian. Apps that i use: internet browser, whatsapp, facebook, media player, maps, runtastic (as a replacement for endomondo which I'm using for the 808PV) - all covered in WP8. Anything else is a bonus. |

I would tend to agree, the average consumer will prefer the post processed look; i.e. similar to Apple and Android.
And i Hope Nokia adds a "natural or vivid" setting so users can change the amount of auto sharpening done, so they can cater for both groups of consumers. This has to be priced at less than RM2K (say RM1899 ?). Anything higher and people will wait (including me) when it hits the next price cut at RM1699+/- level. |

QUOTE(Savor_Savvy @ Aug 14 2013, 09:14 PM) Heard my friend said taiwan is selling it for almost rm3k (after converting it to myr), with some freebies of coz. Minus the freebies should be around rm2.7k. Not sure how much would this phone cost in Malaysia. They charge this much it's suicide liao. Seeing as the current flagship Lumia 925 is +/-RM1599 , the 1020 *should* fall into the 1899 - 2199 bracket. p/s: Can we keep the negativity to a minimum please. Tq.
