so far only Storekini.com knows the actual price and the mysterious gift, top it up they are exclusive too and you get the phone at first hand.
All other retailers won't get it, even Nokia store, only you get it first, kind of like a VIP service and you can't expect the price to be just RM2.3k This post has been edited by s7ran9er: Sep 17 2013, 11:38 PM |

1020 doesn't seem half-baked for me, it's quite tasty.

QUOTE(arbelnox @ Sep 19 2013, 09:24 AM) Cos they are interested in getting Note 3. That's why, but I prefer Sony Z1 over GNote every second. Oh, if that's the case. Get both lah. Remember, this is a camera phone, ask yourself if you truly enjoy shooting photos or it might be better if photography is one of your hobby or professional work. GN3, that big ass screen size phone is a smart phablet, it works for everyone and it is highly customizable. Day 1 price with hyped smartphones really hit above RM2k mark mah unless you can wait. |

I would say the RM2k+ would be a bundle, bundle with what? The grip of course! Few months later they will discard the bundle and introduces the "standalone" version, which is going to be, say... RM1.7k?
The grip will cost a lot and you'd probably think "I should've bought it earlier". So, they better put this badass grip into the bundle. |

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Sep 19 2013, 07:13 PM) that was painful. Especially the announcement of Lumia 920. From single core become dual core. Especially at 2.5k maybe in less than a year become 1.5k The painful wasn't the core thing, it was the WP7.5 and announcement of WP8. Pricing, like I have said before, what goes around comes around. |

QUOTE(weirdguy @ Sep 20 2013, 11:28 AM) Hai, my L620. I've bought mine from mudah.my at about RM1,000 back in few months ago, the phone was still in it's pristine stage, no sign of any wear too I asked the owner why did he wanted to sell it off after 2 weeks of usage, he said he can't adapt WP8. I understand. I have plan to get L920 Red/Yellow, shall 1020 still stubborn. I don't like 925, in case anyone wonder. I even saw someone selling theirs Used L920 Red @Lowyat Trading for about RM850 with a few months warranty left. Reasonable, I thought. ![]() For price to change, like any other smartphones (except iPhone) will face price drop (every 3 months) from my experience. Is it worth it for current WP8 owners to upgrade to 1020? Let's see, (in my opinions) + You have never own a Lumia device before. + You want to test the superiority of ZEISS lens + You're going to print the photos out. again, the only thing why I would change for 1020 would be lossless crop zoom(limited) and better bokeh, that's it. Sure it's cool to see all those 41mp resampled photos uploaded to social networks but to be honest, nobody really cares. (Unless you have a lot of Lumia friends) @Weirdguy, 920 is a very capable shooter itself if: + On a budget + Likely to change phone every year Get 1020 if, + Taking really decent photos is your priority. + Decides to replace PnS/Mirrorless/DSLR with a one hand operated camera. + Always have to help wife carry shopping bags during travel. QUOTE(weirdguy @ Sep 20 2013, 01:14 PM) Thanks for your kind effort in putting the above I too thought of having a matte l920 red but I can adapt, so far finger prints aren't much of a problem since I have a pouch to clean it. After Amber Update, I fell even more in love with L920. I believe it perform better in terms of colour, compare with L925. I couldn't remember where I read that review. I always love the design of L920, but I seriously seriously hope there is someone in Malaysia can make it Matt like L1020. Why L920? Yes, I'm on budget. I do not wish to change every year. Waste of hard-earned money and savings. But I love the Matt of L1020. If I could apply that to my L920, I think I won't be buying another phone for another 2 years (maximum). Why L1020? Yes, I love beautiful photos. No, I do not have PnS, DSLR or other Camera Yes, I always the one and happy to carry bag when travel with my wife. That aside, you can always put on a case if you like. ![]() |

QUOTE(weirdguy @ Sep 20 2013, 02:59 PM) Hehehe. You got me there. Indeed the yellow and red are glossy. I will do some research on that tonight, before I finalize my decision. Between, how you plan to have Matt L920 Red? All L920 Color is glossy, right? Here's a link to how to solve the matte problem, this. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2897493 Alternatively you can check out other casings, they're thin: http://www.minimallyminimal.com/blog/nokia...extended-review |

QUOTE(arbelnox @ Sep 20 2013, 04:32 PM) Yeah bro, go ahead and let us know your review on the Note 3. Galaxy Gear can tahan one day usage? Last time our watch no need to charge. After all, L1020 is one piece of overpriced crap using last gen processors with fake zoom that still dare to price at RM 2499.00 bundled with only RM 299.00 worth of power case only. And Note 3 priced at ONLY RM 2399.00 have super awesome bundling with Galaxy Gear that cost RM 999 so that makes Note 3 only RM 1400.00. Have fun with it I hope Well, I'm being sarcastic. LOL.. |
