I get about 5s from shutter sound to when the camera is ready for next shot. Long time IMO.

There are working on filling up the apps store with 100 locally made apps by our own Malaysia developers under the icon smart partnership . You should be able to see under Nokia highlights/ icon. The numbers of locally made apps are flooding in right now.

While apps do matter, it's not so much of a deal breaker as the lack of features.

I once approached a company (name confidential) with 20+ men with the intent to sell a full package to them, a web service that runs on web (obviously), desktop and mobile app (I'm a MSFT guy, so WinPhone it is). I tried to get them to adopt Lumia 620 (for staff), Lumia 820 / 920 (for execs). The deal didn't materialize.

Why? Lack of features. I demonstrated a lot of features using my 920 back then, and then I let the top execs get their hands on it. The very first question one of them asked, how to attach documents through emails. I showed them, but they were dumbfounded .... It could only attach one doc per email. Seriously? Back then, there was only PDF Reader from MSFT. Again, how to attach PDF, I was screwed.

I demonstrated an alternative, through the use of SkyDrive, but they didn't buy the idea. Next up, the IT guy asked, how to set static IP? Again, I couldn't answer. Corporates sometimes don't just rely on DHCP to do the job. They have specific IP for each device that connects to the network for administrative purposes.

These are very important features, yet, to date, still nowhere to be found. WP, to date, is still very much a commercial phone, not recommended for enterprise use. Had they included those features, imagine how many companies service providers like me could approach? Imagine how many companies are already using Windows Phone right now?

The Note 3 have great features on usability especially for Power Users. Kinda feel like Tablet in small HD screen with the Pen features. Very practical and usability.

Honestly, as one mentioned earlier, Windows Phone really lack many Power Features, even basic feature compare to Android. But I am buying Lumia 1020 for its Camera 'A Superior Camera always with me', not exactly required all those Features. I can live without them, but it would a PLUS, if Microsoft could provide them soon, especially with next WP OS. This is my preference.

I agreed that Windows Phone definitely need to have these features in order to grow substantially into the next years/quarters, to meet its Billions-WP target.

Remember the L925 where its Presentation Slides show RM,1799 or RM,1899 something like that, but during actual Retail Launch, the RRP only RM1,599. Yet, Superbuy.my (Malaysia Online Retailer) offering almost additional RM100 discount on the launch day in their website.

Indeed. I miss the "Swipe Right to View" gesture on the stock Camera. Being using Nokia Pro Camera now only.

Yes, that's what I said, but if you've been a WP user since its first iteration, you'd know that back in WP7, the default camera didn't even allow you to save settings, which was really

I'm disappointed to see MS being so half-assed about WP, after all their yap-yap-yap saying otherwise. I want to see this platform succeed, but it cannot succeed if the team keep taking years to implement rotation lock, app kill switch, call blocking and all those mundane, _basic_ stuff that should've been there from day one.

Lumia device tend to have white balance issue, I dunno why is that so. But luckily that white balance can be tweaked with the preset 4 options. They said it has something to do with the OIS or somesort, but I just simply don't understand. Maybe there is someone care to clarify?

yeah, for some reason, Sony Xperia team really should borrow some technicians from the Sony Alpha Camera team. The camera on the Xperia just sucks whole time, even the other competitors who use the same camera module from Sony can tweak the photo result better. I love Sony products, but when it comes to Xperia Camera, I just can only shake head.

Also well, this 1020 price its yet to be known, much rumor saying that it will be over 2k, lets just hope its not that bad =/
