QUOTE(SJ Chua @ Jul 12 2013, 09:10 AM) Well have to try n see then we can know more about it Yes, this is everything that I have asked for! but so far for now some Nokia blogs mentioned that tis camera has better sharpness than 808 due to the 6th lens + BSI + OIS (sounds really gooding here) just hope nokia malaysia to bring in tis model ASAP :/ anyway...there's no sign of a red or cyan one eh? only 3 colors this time? (last time 808 oso 3 colors...hmmm...) As for when, you wouldn't want to spam the Nokia Malaysia fan page because most of the social media team out there doesn't have a single clue when their products will launch, the most common answer will be "it will be here soon in the coming months". So better stop wasting time and shoot more with your Lumia phones! |

by the time the Lumia 1020 being release in China this quarter, our Nokia Malaysia will probably be promoting 925 at the same time. Such a shame that 925 is one of the good device too!

Some harsh questions were asked by Nilay@TheVerge team, the announcement felt like Nokia was selling a camera more than a smartphone.

Word of mouth is better marketing than any other marketing out there, IMO. india is nokia-using country esp. Asha series very good china huge country so alot ppl msia...not many ppl n not alot nokia users compared to android n ios... haiz wat to do Now all eyes on Microsoft now. |

Question is, do we really that much packed 41 mega pixels? Which is why Nokia called the event "Zoom Reinvented", as you will get "oversampled" photos when cropped, do you really print your photos out in large print?
Of all the range of Lumias, they all have the exact same OS, just slight different hardwares. This post has been edited by s7ran9er: Jul 12 2013, 10:55 AM |

QUOTE(Andy214 @ Jul 12 2013, 11:57 AM) The 41MP is UNIQUE. Yes, you dont' really need it, but when you have it, you may appreciate it. We all know it's part of the plan since the announcement of 920 & 820. It's quite disappointing that they renamed the OIS to PureView just to use the "PureView" brand to shield and sell the phone, it's all part of the plan and sometimes you have to make choices. For those get 808, can you find any replacement for it? You can get any smartphone that is capable to do this, moreover with such sensor size, and rich recording. Sorry, but as current other Lumias, it's not really unique like the 808 PureView. Other manufacturer's already offering similar OIS, and even OIS is not really a necessity, but nice to have; Having used Lumia's and Samseng S3, there's nothing really stand-out, unllike 808, where you will want to utilize/enjoy the 34MP or 38MP image and no other smartphones can. The current Lumia's PureView is just temporary to "maintain" the market demand for a PureView WP since they can't offer a proper 808 PureView replacement. In my POV, a proper phase II, should incorporate Phase 1 technology + Phase 2 technology, which means PureView oversampling + PureView OIS, but the current Lumia PureView is missing Phase 1. They cannot produce such device, but they have to "maintain" the market, so they launch the OIS version to capture/grab the market first. To me, it's making use of the PureView name, but then it's business after all, they need to "maintain" their customers instead of letting them wait/switch. |

QUOTE(JasonWilton @ Jul 13 2013, 12:33 AM) in 720p, but not as much "zoom" like in the photo. You can look at wpcentral or wmpoweruser for the insight. like many others, many would want to buy this gadget on day 1 launch but as for me, I will be getting a 920 for myself, eyeing on a red version. |

QUOTE(arbelnox @ Jul 15 2013, 04:14 PM) Malaysia facebook? Well, I think these people are just a bunch of Facebookers who are just hired to play Facebook only. They ain't in position to plead the Nokia Global to release the phones to them at all. Yes indeed, how did you know? Is there any chances that you're working for social media? Like it or not, if you can control your "hype" on new devices, you can tell yourself to stop hyping and stop raging towards Nokia for delivering late in your country. We actually have a pretty accurate tipster from the community, he mentioned 925 will be announced on the 4th week of this month and we will see if his "tips" is accurate or not, if it's then you may stalk him for further updates. |

QUOTE(ulwan25 @ Jul 17 2013, 11:01 PM) If you can kill your own hype and go do something meaningful you will make yourself less stressful. Asking for more variants, Nokia's CEO would answer you with "we have skydrive" This post has been edited by s7ran9er: Jul 17 2013, 11:57 PM |
