can the filter be reusable (especially the holders) when we change the laptop, assuming same laptop size?

actually i peel off those holders and removed the double sided tapes. the top part of the holder is a bit cacat but still usable.
can i just stick a new layer of double sided tape to the holder and reuse the old holders?
