Quality of the filter is good, tested that screen appear to be dark with the filter on,  if view from the side .
It also help to reduce glare for laptop with glossy screen. Overall a good buy for the price.

Installation Methods
Method 1:

Remove the protective paper from the stickers
Paste the privacy filter on your CRT monitor

This is NOT a 3M "OEM" privacy filter. But just a China Made privacy filter trying to fool the consumer as 3M product. Do not expect the same quality as original 3M privacy filter.
