'Like a dog' seems pretty harsh and i doubt it paints an accurate picture. Please convey your feedback to STAD for further improvement to the session.

Maybe I over react la. But I think university life shouldn't be like high school life. 10 min for lunch and have to walk for 20 min to hall if we late get shout like crazy lol. sweat.gif

........ Well I means they have already done countless orientation. ......
I think the committee works as ad-hoc. Every year, you will have new committee... You need to give more positive feedback how to make this orientation better in future.

I think your batch will lead this orientation week in next two or three years...

Learn all the positive activities, keep in mind how to improve or re-work the negative activities.. Then, MMU may have better orientation in years to come.

Now many students are activities in face-to-face activities now. Learning making thousand friends in facebook have negative impact on current students to make new friends while face-to-face, in my opinion.

I just don't like it the DM treating us like kids. Asking to tie your hair -.- cut your finger nail, wear black colour shoes.  Line up in a straight line.  I feel like in a child military school -.-;;
They also shout at us like we are 10 years old. Can't they give instructions like an adult? I feel like they'll have thyroid soon you know? Lol
I personal don't like this as well, but any better way than not doing this.

Hahaha ..... DM's are students as well in fact they're like normal OCs except they have the "power" to "control" .
Please don't get them wrong , and OCs are trying to scare you freshies into believing they are the Uni's DM . smile.gif

And you won't encounter anymore situations like this eg. cut ur finger nails , tie your hair . Crap even some OCs also have long untied hair and uncut long finger nails . whistling.gif
My advice , bear with it . 4 more days I think ? Feels like wanna go MMU Cyber to "visit" freshies , mana tau later I kena drag into the line as freshies also . Hhahhahah . tongue.gif

You cannot use your temporary id's password to login the MMU WiFi..
Change the password using this link.. https://coldarra.mmu.edu.my:444/

MMU WiFi password is different from MMLS.

Hello guys, I would like to know more about a person who might be an "Orientation Committee" or "security guard" etc who called himself "D.M.".

Situation:
Today I was in the first Orientation Day and in the hall, someone was giving speech at the stage. During the speech, I received a message and needed to leave emergency for personal reason. So I asked one of the OC and he brings me to meet a guy who wears coat and hold a talkie. I explained my situation and tell him I may or not come back. He ask me am I staying hostel and yes I was taken the temporarily stays. He asked for my student ID and asked about the time I will be back, so my ID taken. And I told him I will be back in 10pm, he said he wanted me to promise him and must see me in 10pm. Then I leave the hall.

Back in 10pm, I went back to the same place and asked one of the guy who dressed like an O.C. He called someone and asked me to wait. Few minutes later the guy who taken my ID came into me and told me the ID was sent to my faculty. And ask me to come back in the morning. I tell him I'm not going to stay in hostel and not coming back tomorrow in the morning. He asked did I get permission from my faculty's head? Huh?! I say I don't know what he talking about. He walk back in the door and I was waiting outside. The other OC who I met he returned my ID and say thank you and wish me enjoy the class on 3rd June. And the DM came out and didn't look at me at all and passed by with an unsatisfied face.

And I went back home with my student ID.
Sorry my words too long...

MU QUESTION IS:
Does he have the rights to hold a student's ID which doesn't belongs to him?
The student ID clearly stated "This pass is not transferable" and "If found please return to Admission and Bursary Division"

I felt I'm being bullied, so I am going to write a complaint letter about him.
Does anyone faces the same case like me before?

Thank you.
