when i go to melaka campus last time i want pay by cash
they dont receive it
call me go CIMB atm in campus one to bank in
then happen my bad luck ==
the transaction wont need 3 day because is terus use CIMB atm transfer
if need they also receive ady because it almost 3 week ==

I got a fierce look, nobody dare to ask me direction if they are lost

the main purpose orientation is to know the place and the place code

For example, (They will teach u this  )
FBL R4003 mean, Faculty of Business and Law building, 4th floor, room 3
There, FBL, CLC, FET, CITS, Block B., Block A etc etc

if you dunno all this, then it difficult for you during your 1st sem already. If you were to ask senior like me on how to see place, i will straight answer you "Orientation they didn't teach or u didn't go?" 

Next is on rules n regulation, although during my time u still can wear slipper to class and it not reinforced strictly. Now you must wear shoes or u kena saman by security guard. $$$ fly

Plus if you are alone, then it the place n time to meet new friends who might in the same course as you.  No lone ranger, if you lone ranger, then u might have problem mixing with others when class start as u dont have anyone in common to talk to and asigment

This is the advice i give to every junior that enter,

Score your cgpa as high as possible during your 1st n 2nd year if u want maintain your cgpa. Iu start low, it will be very hard to pull up. 1st n 2nd year subject are still simple, take advantage and score

3rd n 4th, if you have, the subject can be very hard till u just want to pass. Tat time your cgpa will drop. To counter this, get high cgpa 1st to compensate the drop

may TS should pin this cgpa advice lol. I give this always every new intake

well, u newbies will be using white name tag before giving your own student ID

Most of you will be wearing all the time, so it easy to spot a junior 1st year or foundation
Senior dont usually wear their ID around, that goes to lecturer a well 

actually easy to recognize newbies. they are either:
1- looking lost like a lamb, with innocent (blur blur) look

or

2- looking overly confident (pretending) and walk with a strut

Hello hihichew...I also just received mine...the date to be send the letter to mmu is 20 may...I tried to call mmu but no answer...u called them?wat they said? Can send the letter and pay money on registration day?thanks

If not mistaken, you still can register for Jun 2013 intake till this end of May. Just you may be late for your class registration and miss the student orientation but MMU still allow you to register.

Some of MMU courses, like Law, Mechanical Engineer and Accounting are very popular. Most of these courses are full by now. You need extremely good result to get in now.

Since MMU alpha (Pre-U) now is handled under respective faculty, so you will not have honeymoon year like your seniors were enjoying last time.

Meeting new friends and know a lot of seniors (same major) in your first few weeks are very important. It will help you a lot for your next 4 or 5 years in MMU.

Don't forget to register into one or two student clubs/societies.

actually when i ask , 2nd floor 12th floor 17th floor are available ... but dunno why i go choose 2nd floor lol ... i should choose 12 floor 1 == too sad , made wrong move

Go to CimbClicks , from there click pay bills , then choose education, from education find Universiti Telekom Sdn. Bhd.
Then proceed to enter your student ID , IC and other personal info , then enter amount , after that print it out the receipt and the next day show to finance . 

when i go ask they tell me left only 17th floor also

then i go take a look at emerald apartment ... no nice room no lift ==

then i go back ixora there , they tell me 12th floor ngam ngam got 1 free slot haha

then i think about 2-4 minutes , they tell me ngam ngam got 1 free slot at 2nd floor

so they gimme choose

2nd floor
12th floor
17th floor (only left a room , stay with india boy)

so i choose the 2nd lol ... beside i'm trying to help parents save money also .. 

nope , actually emerald apartment still left many floor

but they will open floor by floor

this floor full then open another floor

this is their system , today the old lady just told me . while my parents beside too

but emerald apartment ... dun hav lift LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's why i duwan live in emerald apartment , haha
