Was mmu melaka the only place whereby senior encourage junior to go for orientation...

since after i ask so many senior from other universities, everyone just said that orientation sucks so much ~~

cant pay with cash one ==
when i go to melaka campus last time i want pay by cash
they dont receive it
call me go CIMB atm in campus one to bank in
then happen my bad luck ==
the transaction wont need 3 day because is terus use CIMB atm transfer
if need they also receive ady because it almost 3 week ==

By the way, i havent receive my offer letter yet due to late apply. Just want to know what should do after that as preparation.

the main purpose orientation is to know the place and the place code

For example, (They will teach u this )
FBL R4003 mean, Faculty of Business and Law building, 4th floor, room 3
There, FBL, CLC, FET, CITS, Block B., Block A etc etc

if you dunno all this, then it difficult for you during your 1st sem already. If you were to ask senior like me on how to see place, i will straight answer you "Orientation they didn't teach or u didn't go?"

Next is on rules n regulation, although during my time u still can wear slipper to class and it not reinforced strictly. Now you must wear shoes or u kena saman by security guard. $$$ fly

Plus if you are alone, then it the place n time to meet new friends who might in the same course as you. No lone ranger, if you lone ranger, then u might have problem mixing with others when class start as u dont have anyone in common to talk to and asigment

This is the advice i give to every junior that enter,

Score your cgpa as high as possible during your 1st n 2nd year if u want maintain your cgpa. Iu start low, it will be very hard to pull up. 1st n 2nd year subject are still simple, take advantage and score

3rd n 4th, if you have, the subject can be very hard till u just want to pass. Tat time your cgpa will drop. To counter this, get high cgpa 1st to compensate the drop

may TS should pin this cgpa advice lol. I give this always every new intake

if u melaka, u can go to the admission at president square. The place where they park all the MMU bus
