So if I join that club/sport I need to take that exam or can I join that club but not take that exam but take other sport exam ?
*
You're trying to establish a connection between a society/club you would like to join and the co-curiculum subject? There's none. Say if you join chess club for fun but you wanna register for badminton as your co-curiculum subject there's no problem.

Ah I see thank you .  rclxms.gif for swimming club in malacca where do students swim ?

Haha this I can't help you with. I'm a Cyberjaya student. It's just that I have to take a subject in Melaka this trimester to complete my studies.

Perhaps Human Nature can help answer this question?

Inside Melaka campus there's no more cafeteria? Only one eatery near CIMB?

So my PTPTN request is still in process, is that normal? Third week we have to pay the bills right? Or do we have to pay for that on our own first? I'm so worried :/
*
Yes it is normal. The time it takes for PTPTN or MARA to process students' loan varies and from what I've seen with the people around me they can take months. Just be prepared to pay first trimester's fees on your own. For final exams sake I think they will allow you to take the exams if you clear 80% of the fees. Full amount needed to view results when they're out.

Added: Oh and by the way you can pay your fees anytime before the financial barring date which will be announced in the bulletin board at a later time. After that you'll only be financially barred, which means you can't view results, attendance %, pre-register subjects, and take the final exams. But as I said, clear 80% of the fees and you will be allowed to take final exams. Pre-registration of Trimester 2 not too sure. You need to ask Finance.

Thank you, I was thinking of buying a DSLR camera for photography class next week...seems like have to pay for the bills first.  : hmm.gif
Anyway how do I check how much I have to pay?(See attached)

Is it the invoice or the balance? And does that include the hostel fee?
[attachmentid=3485052]
*
Balance. -700 means you have paid RM700 extra but that could probably be because they haven't updated all the fees. Just wait until near financial barring date. That's what I do because Finance tends to update IT fees, library fees, and what not a week or two after they've updated subject fees. Unless you like to make multiple payments. laugh.gif

Added: By the way have you submitted your CIMB account no to Finance? Asking because at the Acc No part it says null.

Really prefer paying early though, had to go through many ordeal before getting unbarred  biggrin.gif

Hahaha naww I pay when it is near the barring date. That way I'm sure that they've updated all the fees. Before this paid early then have to pay again because they update the library fees and what not at a later date. Finance really should update them all in one go.

Hi guys. Some questions that i wanna enquire here.

1. MMU's coco. We just have to join one coco for one trimester,in the entire 4 years university life at MMU ritez? Besides that, we can choose to join in any trimester we want, am i true?

2. Heard people around discussing which is more easier to score and which isn't, what is meant by "EASIER TO SCORE"? what the score for?

3. Does the coco affects our testimonial or something?

4. Scholarship, as i know there is a merit scholarship offered, the information is in the documents that came with offer letters. Okie, now, the result which i used for application is not really good, not qualified for the scholarship, so can i still apply the scholarship if i get good result in mmu later?
*
1-3:
Co-curiculum is counted in your CGPA actually. So it is important to choose a co-curiculum course that you're pretty sure you can score A. An A for a 2 credit hour co-curiculum course is like a bonus mark in a test.

4:
There are scholarships which you can apply using your first trimester/year varsity result, which you can look around to find. Whether or not they will put into consideration your academic record prior to entering university depends on who's giving out those scholarships. Although if your result in MMU is good enough to make them turn a blind eye on your past ones, it will surely help your cause. Anyway, just apply for a couple. It doesn't hurt to try. One definite thing; you definitely won't get a scholarship if you sit around doing nothing. Good luck with the application(s).

I think few clicks at CIMB is not so hard to do, am I right?

Pay later, you may already spent the money before the due date.

Pay later, you may has higher risk to get bar in case you are not manage to pay in last few minutes.  Internet down, lost cards, account locked or etc....
*
Leceh ask for fee money few times. By the way it's not like I pay on the last day before barring lol. If not for how they tend to not update everything at once, I will be those who pay straight away after they've updated the fees. Chill, lol.

I'm a new student anyway, as i know, we dont have to join the coco immediately from the first trimester, i can choose to join in any trimester in my 4 years,is it? And the coco is just taking 1 trimester, we just have to join one time and dont have to join anymore by then, ritez?
*
As long as they are offered, you may take them in whichever trimester you prefer. And yes, you only have to take it once, provided you don't fail it of course.

Hi,

I would like to ask whether there is any SAPS point requirement for the students to graduate from the university, like a requirement of having at least 2.0 GPA of SAPS.
*
Nope there is none.

QUOTE(lacusness @ Jun 13 2013, 07:52 PM)
So I'm dead. I've changed foundation on week 1 and I also applied for PTPTN. No one told me that it means that my PTPTN request is now useless and I have to wait for another one in October and apply for that one. I don't think my mother can handle the bills. My course fee is 12k and there's 3 trimesters, and I'm guessing I have to pay around 4k on my own on the third week right?
I shouldn't be so rash to change foundation so early, I thought if I do it early I wouldn't miss any class and it backfired heavily. I'm so dumb, man. I'm so dumb.
*
Don't be so hard on yourself. If you stick with the foundation program you have no interest in, you will waste money instead when you switch the next time. Just let your mom know, and figure things out together from then on.

Called my mom and seems like she's still busy working.

I don't know man... Maybe a bank loan or something? I don't even know if they're going to do that.
*
But if you take up personal loan or something you will need to consider the interest you will have to pay. In the long run will it be worth it?

Yeah, just thought about that.
So the payment is next week, can it be stalled for a while? Maybe a week or two? My mother said she can manage that. Just tried to call finance office just now but seems like they're already closed.
*
At night? Of course they're closed. laugh.gif

Can pay later. Usually financial barring date is towards the end of the trimester.

Not until the end la. Later financially barred will cause problem when you want to pre-register subjects for next trimester. sweat.gif

Barred from printing exam slips, checking attendance percentage, seeing academic results, register subjects, etc. resulting from failing to settle your fees.
