So is it an error in the system or a leak info?
*
I expected it to be an error for my case and since they fixed it for me I guessed it right I suppose? Need to check if those who have seen it before are still able to see it now.

Some of my friends still have it, not sure it's reliable though..

Highly likely it is true. For my case something was wrong even before final exams. Not a probation student but was told by system to do my academic evaluation before I can access the subject registration site.

LOL screwed by these people again. Went through ERU that day and they changed my exam venue from Cyberjaya to Melaka, now for this subject they put my status as 'U'.

U for Unofficial Withdrawal Student was absent from the examination for a subject, without giving any reason acceptable to the BoE. The code U is equivalent to grade “F” or “FL”

I did the exam in Melaka venue as stipulated in my exam slip. I even asked my lecturer in Melaka if there was any problem with the keying in of my result and my lecturer said there was no problem. I don't understand how this kind of silly problem can occur. I went through ERU itself. Not like I asked some witch doctor about the exam venue.

Taken from ERU site:

REMARKING

Appeal for remarking of examination paper

Extracted from MMU Rule No.8 / Part IV, student can apply for remarking of his or her examination's result according to the procedures below:

7. Appeal

A candidate, who may have sufficient reason to believe that he has been unjustly graded or that an error has occurred in the marking of his paper or in the computing of grades, may appeal to the relevant Board of Examiners through the Examination Unit.

8. Appeal Procedure

(1) A written formal appeal must be forwarded to the respective Dean/Director through the Examination Unit and a fee of Ringgit Malaysia hundred only (RM 100.00) per paper (or as determined by the Senate from time to time) shall be imposed as appeal fee. The appeal fee shall only be refunded if the said appeal is successful.

(2) All appeals shall reach the Examination Unit not later than one week after the commencement of the following trimester. Appeals submitted after one week shall not be entertained.

(3) The Dean/Director shall, together with the examiner concerned, review the answer script of the candidate. The Dean/Director may direct that the candidate's answer script be re-examined by a second examiner.

(4) After the review, if there is a change of mark and/or grade, the change shall be submitted to the Senate, through the Board of Examiners, for approval.

Fellow Cyberjaya seniors, I would like to ask the meaning of the class location( as in which floor, what building, etc).

BR1021
XR1005
FOMAR3005
FOMCR1001
FOMCR0002

And also, how to know which class should I go for the MPU subjects? It doesnt state it on the lists they gave us
*
BR1021 - FOE building, B block, 1st floor.

XR1005 - XR lecture theaters are opposite of the library.

FOMAR3005 - FOM building, A block, 3rd floor.

FOMCR1001 - FOM building, A block, 1st floor.

FOMCR0002 - FOM building, C block, ground floor (same floor as the FOM cafeteria)

Now that you know roughly where to look, please go a bit earlier to look for the exact room.

The rest please take note as well on how to determine the class venues.

I read an announcement saying that tutorial classes begin in 2nd week. Meaning that in the first week we ONLY go for lecture and DON'T NEED to go for ALL tutorial classes?

Thank you in advance!
*
If it is stated there is no tutorial on first week, you don't need to go, it is as simple as that. Although do take note that some subjects may have tutorials during the first week so don't simply assume all subjects are the same. Check which announcement is for which subject.

thanks hadith, dling notes now to study . tongue.gif

Pro tip: print out the lecture notes and just scribble any extra info on the printed notes rather than trying to jot down every single thing on a blank paper or notebook during lectures/tutorials. The lecturers/tutors won't wait for you and you won't be able to catch up.
