Yes, the auto defogger sensor is "double-taped" onto the windscreen. But the SC should use a transparent type of double tape so that it is aesthetically nice and pleasing to the eye. If you need my SC to help you to tape it using this transparent double tape, do let me know and you can come to our SC.

Thank you
*
The SC used normal black double-sided. I will come over this saturday to your SC to do it. After 10.00am. I need to see you or Mr.Simon?

Thanks smile.gif

Sounds like pricey for a scuffplate. I dont know about its quality or design (the one that u saw on the website), but if i'm not mistaken, the cost is less than RM200 last time (not including installation), but this one maybe are not the same design or quality as the one u saw.
*
i checked with others it was les than RM200....yip auto was RM180........but the webpage says its from korea thats what i was wondering....nyway will it void the warranty coz even naza auto solutions offer this thg but at RM350!

Since that the scuffplate requires power to illuminate the LED, u need to tap the power from cable/wire underneath. So in this case i believe that the electrical warranty will be void. I suggest u not to install the scuffplate until the warranty is over. Wrong wire tap, might introduce weird behavior of the car as one of the Fortezens faced before when installing the scuffplate.

Unless u install this at Naza place, the warranty should remain.
*
okok...i will have to wait for the warranty to over coz naza dun have the red colour.. wink.gif wink.gif wink.gif
Thanks for the info!

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Jul 8 2013, 03:14 PM)
On e) I have installed both VS and grounding cable. As my car is still new, the VS is not apparrent. Do some readings on VS. I have reviewed that too. All other effect of VS is still there except for the gear shift from gear 1 to gear 2. In my review I say that I cannot hear the gear change. After I have put on PB, i can hear the gear change at other PB mode. On PB normal mode, I cannot hear.

I put on GC as a prevention, just in case the core stock GC deteriorate. The main one is the one from engine body to chasis on the left. That main cable is taking like 80% of total car current. So after adding 4 points, all are more evenly distributed.

I did it with Erictioh. Search up his name in street mart. 170 for VS. Bundle with GC is 280.

Thanks....

Do you know where i can get Ultra Racing bar (lowest price)?

Front Strut and Rear ARB, a shop in sunway quoted RM600, and RM680 in kl.

Is it necessary to use torque wrench to install it? Speedmod said if not it will cause problem to chasis in a longer run.

600 is cheap dude. What I got is more expensive than that.

Torque wrench is a must to ensure that all nuts are tighten at the same force. Else if one nut is tighten tighter than the rest, force will be laying on the tighter nut. Hence you will see more wear on that part of your chasis.
*
Speedmod offers Rm680, they use the torque wrench...im not sure about the sunway shop (After12) which offers RM600 but authorized UR dealer....checked on the UR webpage...

i have been checking on these items:

i) Stiff rings - RM280 including installation
ii) Cushion buffers - not sure of the price yt (any details on the price)
iii) UR Bars (Front Strut + Rear ARB) - RM600 & RM680 (2 offers)
iv) First stage soundproof ( wheel arch + boot) - RM1500 (ecoasiaglobal aka icecube)
v) Looking for glass wing spoiler too

Please advice on the price and any recommended places for all these items for now....

Bro, nothing can go wrong in Speedmod. Looking at the way they deal with your car, you will be happy paying for the premium (if there is a premium), but I do think that their price is just. I installed alot of things in Speedmod and I did not regret any of the service provided with the money paid. So my price with Speedmod is bundled price, price is a little better I must say.

i) Stiff rings - Speedmod
ii) Cushion buffers - R-Bach brand in Speedmod (RM 80 per pair)
iii) UR Bars (Front Strut + Rear ARB) - Speedmod
iv) First stage soundproof ( wheel arch + boot) - ecoasiaglobal aka icecube*
v) Looking for glass wing spoiler too - I have no idea where to get

* I now reserve my comments on EcoAsia. I did my chasis foaming and boot treatment there. Things worked good. With the recent incident, I doubt that he knows sound proofing in total. Whatmore if he knows anything about Forte. My advice for now is that you change to a set of tyre that you will like. Listen carefully in 2 weeks on which part you will want to do. After changing tyre, boot and fender might not be the part that you will want to treat. Believe it or not, my colleagues car with PS 3 but no treatment is very quiet. It is like a different world in that cabin.
*
Thanks for the info....
Im looking to do it at speed mod, but have to save up my budget so i can do the top 3 at ago, hopefully can knockdown the price here n there wink.gif biggrin.gif

I will probably do the top 3 first for now.... the soundproof i was looking around maybe later on (thanks for the advice on it)...

Bro, don't la go self poison. You will end up getting unnecessary stuff and waste money. Drive the car around more. Know what you will want to do to the car, then only you look for source. Self poison is dangerous.

But you can source around for prices no harm... as time goes by you will know your car better to suit your driving biggrin.gif

Bundle up and ask for a price down. I will be there in the next 2 weeks for the health check after service.

Sound proof don't look around. Change tyre first if you are still on A V7. Then only you go look around.
