I am very interested to know what road it is will make our car tyres hit the fender with 2 person at the back. I have had my parents on various roads and there is no such hitting noise.

Before adding buffer is the highway between kl/jb

After adding buffer is from cheras cannaught to broga hill

Both speed were over 110, if I slow down before a slope then it will not hit, if I didn't it will hit

Last night I saw in fb someone put two pairs of buffer on the rear spring, total of four pieces, two on each spring, I wonder is that another solution or better I check with sc maybe the suspension problem hmm.gif

I actually have thought of this putting 4 buffers on 2 springs. Please follow on the member's review on putting 2 buffers on one spring. I will also want to try.

I'm following, will update later

bro kl-jb is plus right, i always from kl-muar 120-170 no kena before. maybe u kena at later part of  the highway.

add 4 pieces price expensive already, add somemore can change spring terus?
but better ask sc to check first, nothing to lose. it is free.

Ya I also think put four piece is expensive already, maybe move the two to front then change spring is better, anyway I'll go glenmarie sc to check tomorrow, hope to get an absolute answer for this issue

Now I think again, my tires hit the fender maybe due to my offset rims, that other member in fb also same using offset rims hit fender when driving on bumpy roads hmm.gif

Thx to camron remind me

Yes offset rims will caused the rubbing issue.
As for stock forte rims 17x7JJ offset is around +48...

so if you bought rims and the offset is +35 or lower and together rims width will caused the rubbing.
Tyres thickness will caused that if you lowered your car with softer springs.  wink.gif

I dunno my offset reading, the receipt is stated 16x8 and its a little come out from car body, just little

Now I'm wondering whether sc will blame my offset rims, looks like I'm gonna start looking for other rims

wow........ your rims width is 8JJ? 16x8JJ.... is quite off from your brake rotor...
Hmm what kind of rims of that? Got photo?
Looks u r quite active in FB - MYC....

How long is ur car?
*
my car is 4 months old, i already check my car fenders, there are some oily black kind of thing, i believe is caused by the rubber rubbing by the offset rims, now looking to change rims, aihh...

here's an old pic, as u can see the rear tires is out a bit
