If you are referring to Forte, the 5 Year warranty with unlimited mileage is given by KMC (Kia Motors Corporation) and Naza Kia directly. It is no longer insured by any insurance company.

However, there was a batch of 4-Speed Forte that came with 2 + 3 years (warranty) with the last 3 years being extended warranty covered by the then Commerce Assurance which subsequently merged with Allianz insurance.

We usually insure RM1,500 for Forte windscreen. This is the average cost that is sufficient to cover for repair.

Yes, Naza will cease production for Forte. There is only room for Cerato at the assembly line in Gurun. Kia Motors Corporation is also discontinuing Forte production already worldwide.

Forte 2.0 is indeed a value buy. What 2.0 sedan model can you find in Malaysia comes equipped with 6 airbags, MDPS (electric steering) and leather seat, reverse camera, all below 100K. However, it is to be phased out soon and stock is getting limited. A quick decision is needed before the stock or your choice color runs out! Cheers!

Same here. From dealers' point of view, Forte has performed very well and has contributed immersely to our sales figures over the past 3 years. Despite being an outgoing model, demand for Forte continue to be strong for its exceptional value.

Yes that's right. Kia Motors in Korea intends to move forward with the new Cerato/K3 and will cease supply of Forte, even though the demand is still strong in Malaysia, mainly due to its "value" factor.
