Wow I didn't realize it hit max last night.

Good for you going very strongly.

I may start rooting my wife's S3 after warranty ends sometime next month. No SDS nothing so far.

First time crack appear, I was using Rock QuickSand case.
The customer service person told me it must be my casing fault, so I bought a generic TPU soft flexible casing.

Despite using TPU soft flexible casing, it still crack for the 2nd time.
2nd time went there, customer service person blame casing again, I prove him wrong by explaining everything.

Third time happen again, I couldn't be bothered anymore.
So right now I'm just using whatever casing I feel like using tongue.gif

This hairline crack issue was reported early on shortly after availability, but it seems to have died down. You've been persistent.

Genuine Otterbox Defender is RM280. Counterfeit (but does not seem distinguishable from the real deal) is RM60-80.

Cracked Screen is RM600.

Choices, choices ..... whistling.gif

I'm extremely careful with my devices. Yet there is no escaping that oops moment when it comes. That's why you are forced regulated to buy car insurance.

Whilst your assets might be a priority including your wheels, you must not overlook the fact that motor insurance is also to cover third parties particularly if it involves injuries or even fatalities.

Yes, for those eventualities.

Yes I have lanyard loop for my phone and it gets looped around my wrist.

You are free to do whatever you want, but I won't call RM600 insignificant.

I've never seen one myself, but from posted pics, they seem indistinguishable from the real thing. It could be a case of overproduction from the factory that makes it and they're passing it off thru non-approved channels.

Ini betul ke????

Someone’s Galaxy S3 explode while charging
http://www.sammobile.com/2013/05/28/someon...while-charging/

Last night at about 3:15am EST (about 1 hour after i plugged it in and went to sleep) I was awoken by a loud noise and a weird squeaking sound. (I charge my phone while I’m sleeping on my bed right next to me)

So, I woke up, and saw a ton of smoke coming out of my phone — it also smelled REALLY bad. Half asleep, I jumped out of bed and turned the light on, only to see that my phone was just beginning to go on fire. I dumped a glass of water I had in the room on it to stop it from burning…then woke up my brother to come help. The smoke smelled so bad and wafted through the entire second floor of my house. I had a foam mattress pillow top that had a hole burned through it too–which we later threw out because it was still burning throughout. Also, some of the plastic on my phone was melting and kind of shooting out of it, and some landed on my pinky finger and burned some skin off (very small burn though).

Does anyone have any suggestions what I should do? Call Verizon? Samsung? Have a lawyer call them? I’d also like to get some type of replacement phone in the meantime…

ALSO: To answer many questions: EVERYTHING was stock/Samsung that I had received when I purchased my phone. Stock battery, charger, etc. Additionally, my phone was NOT rooted.

==============

He dumped WATER on an ELECTRICAL fire .... sounds fishy to me hmm.gif

A few articles have shown by calculation that it is not possible at this time to get 20k mAh at those prices.

Yes.
I'm on 4.1.2 XXEMC2 stock.
This multiwindow is damn syok  rclxm9.gif

EXTENDED BATTERY 3600MAH
I recently bought a 3600mah extended battery from brotan store (LYN) for my S3.
Although it printed 4000mah on the battery, I dunno if this is true or not.
Used battery monitor and it shows max is 4255mV min is 3459mV
Can anyone confirm this?

BATTERY LIFE
I wanna ask forumers how your stock battery life with stock ROM is?

I tested mine STOCK BATTERY can get roughly around 13hrs with 3G data turned on all the time (with some places goes into wifi mode). Screen on around 2-3hrs.

With the EXTENDED BATTERY 4000mah printed, I got around 16hrs 33m (data turned on all the time with some places wifi). Screen on around 5hrs 2minutes.

Is this good?
I believe my extended should have more life.. maybe I should flash custom ROM and do wipe battery stats?

mV and mA are DIFFERENT things.
