I think it is a norm for each new hardware. Even ipad also has some issue

Based on previous case reported last year, yes you can send in but the unit will wait for parts to come (which is going to take very long since here not yet launch)

My nexus 7 (2013)-32GB has arrived. Clearance from custom without any issue. description put- "PC Tablet".
Available space left is 26GB. Android Firmware took 8GB. Now cannot touch as it is updating firmware and download app from my previous nexus 7(old) and recharging.
