jpaq amazon.com. the price is really "premium" if includes shipping. too bad it doesn't have a magnet for auto on/off.Nexus 7 (2013) Official Thread v1, Launched - FullHD 7" Tablet from US$229

i've read somewhere that going from 3G to HSDPA to HSUPA is just UMTS standard software upgrade on the base station. any radio engineer can enlighten us about this?
as for Digi LTE, i am able to see their LTE signal around tropicana area when i scan for network... |

you can't unless u use a forwarding service. you might need to get sirim certification for LTE version. a few members already shipped in via forwarding service for the wifi version and wasn't taxed.

hmm..it seems that they have opened up to ship globally.
previously you can't, that's why most here uses forwarding service. as for customs...they won't stop the package from coming in. it's just whether you are lucky of being taxed or not. |

check your order whether it's from amazon or 3rd party vendor and "fulfilled by amazon".
amazon themselves does not have ready stock and estimated delivery is end of october. by that time i think asus malaysia might already launch it here. another option is newegg malaysia which will have stocks by end of september, according to their facebook posting. |

QUOTE(Mr Gray @ Sep 12 2013, 04:27 PM) Amazon does have stock. See it here http://goo.gl/U9pCZC i was looking at 32gb.I think Asus will sell it at a more expensive price kan? Even Newegg Malaysia pun should be lagi mahal. well, it's your money and if you are comfortable to buy it then you should! pray that you get a problem free unit though... |

extracted from asus nexus 7 product page http://www.asus.com/my/Tablets_Mobile/Nexu...#specifications
QUOTE *4: NA/JP SKU: 2100(1), 1900(2), 1800(3), AWS 2100/1700(4), 850(5), 700(13), 700(17) EU/KR/AU/Others SKU: 2100(1), 1900(2), 1800(3), AWS 2100/1700(4), 850(5), 2600(7), 800(20) so there's 2 SKU only for nexus 7 LTE, i guess we fall under the "others" category. which means band 3 and 7 are included. fruitie rejoice! |

One thing to note about buying in Europe is that the price is inclusive of tax, which may or may not be rebated when leaving the country.

if google decides that the hardware is not capable of supporting the new version of android, they will stop updating that device to the latest version. just like what happened to nexus one.

busted as in you dropped it and screen cracked?
if i'm not mistaken, although you can send to asus malaysia for repairs, they don't have the spare parts available yet. |

QUOTE(DPBaker2 @ Sep 22 2013, 04:18 PM) I couldn't find Challenger in LYP but tried the other hypermarkets - no luck. Sri Computer had none, at least according to the very bored salesman. if you don't mind the price, nokia's wireless chargers are compatible with nexus 7. though listed as coming soon, it is available at nokia shops.I did find a "Q9" made in China unit for RM249 but after having been conned by a fake yoobau battery pack a few weeks ago I would rather stick with a well known brand. Prefer a flat unit rather than an orb as I want to use it with multiple devices. So, maybe mail order from USA by the looks of it. http://www.nokia.com/my-en/accessories/accessory/dt-900/ http://www.nokia.com/my-en/accessories/accessory/dt-901/ |
