Maxis' new plan - SurfMore 30 is affordable for light usage. RM 30/month and has LTE.

RM1199 is very reasonable price.

Hi I 'accidentally' bought N7 at Hotspot lowyat while 'jalan2' there to survey Ipad Mini and Note 8, but at Hotspot is RRP price, no discount. Standard 1 year warranty with ASUS. (I'm not sure if can bargain there since I didn't try at all. Too lazy and no mood to main pujuk2 that day.)

Bought along the screen protector and ask the guys to pasang after finished checking the device condition, and also a red casing which physically looks like this ipmart case at RM35, and it has sleep-wake function included. I'm satisfied with the case quality and neat build for its' price. There are also black and royal blue casings all at the same price, but the blue one has different design which I found less neat and not fond of. 


This casing will do fine for me until more designs coming out later with cheaper prices(hopefully!  )

I forgot that need to potong my data simcard first to microsim and Hotspot doesn't provide the service, but thankfully someone else help me potong right away

So far I'm happy with with my N7. I have been searching for a tablet for quite a long time and N7 met my top requirements:
1) Small and slim enough to fit in my handbag, but big enough for comfortable internet browsing(I often travel out of KL to my hometown, lazy to bring netbook, iphone not enuff hur hur)
2) Lightweight
3) Fast in internet surfing or whatever apps using mobile internet
4) Pretty and comfortable looking screen image quality
5) Affordable and worth the price for qualities above (My budget was <RM1400. I was actually planning to buy either Note 8 or Ipad Mini).

Sound and video quality is decent. Camera so-so, but the self-shot from the front camera actually not that bad.

The downside of N7 such as no extended memory support, no voice calls and lousy camera I don't care much because I mainly want to use the tablet as mobile internet device  . I have another device that I utilized as a phone+camera 

I see the price for 32 GB LTE is RM1299, may I know the price for 16 GB & 32 GB Wi-Fi?
Where can I get the Wi-Fi ones in shop locally? Thanks.

Asus Malaysia brings in 16GB WiFi and 32GB LTE version only, so there is no official 32GB WiFi only model here but you can find in garage sales, some sellers are bringing 32GB WiFi version from US to Malaysia, price varies from RM1000-1050.

The official MY set price:
16GB WiFi is RM999
32 WiFi + LTE is RM1299

You can find local set at Senheng outlets, Hotspot Malaysia, DirectD, Satu Gadget Dot Com etc.

thanks for your great opinion..one more question~! I personally never use any nexus (pure android) before and i was wondering that the smoothness of this nexus 7.. is it buttery smooth and switching between apps is seamless?

coz i have played my sis ipad mini (iOS 6), it was smooth enough but once she upgrade to iOS7, it get lagged (which is a minus point for this).
