I Used a program called Backlight bleed test from play store. At 100% (left) and then 50% (right):

yeah what i mean is those who bought it so far here in malaysia..will have to do more tests to uncover more problems before i send for warranty fix for this..my 1st gen n7 no such light bleed issue but my transformer 1st gen got (lived with it)

damn, amazon delivered the wrong case to me - I ordered for n7 2nd gen but i got what looks like a galaxy tab 3.0 8 inch tab MOKO case! Anyone ever returned items to amazon before, how does it work? Really frustrated..shipping was like RM 50 + the case only USD 1...if i get refund also useless

yeah agree on the speaker - it is frigging loud and really good especially when you play games or watch movies - a lot better than the first gen n7

ouch that's bad..surprised yours is weaker..anyway, just get it replaced...did asus say when they have the spare parts? i need to get my backlight bleed fixed as well.

when you say top as in top when in portrait mode? mine is at the top center, but kinda spreads across (more obvious in the top center area)

for those of you who are planning to buy the Moko slim fit case like this one:

Suggest to wait for the revised version - for my version the metal clasp and the magnets dont line up - its a manufacturing flaw although according to the seller it is just cosmetic and wont affect the functionality (it does affect a bit - the case is a bit loose but still can close fine).

There is a revised version but they did not ship out yet, he said instead of letting people wait, he decided to ship the current version.

Good thing is - he offered me a $10 USD refund if i took the current version instead of requesting him to reship the revised version.

last time the case only 1 USD (promo) now increase to 9.99 USD..shipping costed me > RM 50 but now i think shipping should be cost more..not worth anymore if u buy 1 unit only..better buy from garage sales, cheaper.

i kena this few times already, did not try what you did to solve the problem but i had to just wipe..I installed a lot of stuff and filled my 32 gb with a lot of games, not sure if that cause it (too many files) - suspected storage issue but cant easily replicate it (by force)..is yours the 32 gb one too?

btw anyone with a case like moko or poetic case (or any other case that has sleep/wake function using the magnet)? I noticed my n7 takes longer than usual to wake after say few hours (or even after 30 minutes) - it takes about almost 30 seconds to wake it..but if u just close it, then open it back immediately the wake is instantaneous - but if you leave it long enough, it doesnt wake up immediately - anyone face similar issue?
