MRT Corp will reduce land acquisition when necessary. Btw it is not just about "land", how about other technicalities, gradient and going in and coming out from the BTS? And how much money to re-design all the modes of integration there?
Having said that, MRT2 could still consider BTS when the needs arise, i.e. public complaints and public wants. Or even a compromise act, such as a station nearby and linked with walkways.
As for LRT interchange, I would think that an interchange at Chan Sow Lin is better as this is just 1 station north of the station at Bandar Malaysia. Anything south of Bandar Malaysia, should serve a "middle" of two catchment areas, i.e. on highways. The HSR interchange remains the focal point.
I believe do the right thing is more important and of course need to addressed all obstacles. I know that the bunch of peoples who involving in planning and designing of MRT lines are professionalism, no doubt. But, how many of them are using public transportation?
Each time wait for public to make a complaints is useless, as we all know that Malaysian seldom practice this. I am hoping they really do the right things to make public more easy and convenient accessing public transportation with right tickets fare.
I thought serving rakyats is the main focal point. No doubt, HSR as well.
