QUOTE(silentsunami @ Apr 2 2015, 05:11 PM) KL is having too many terminus and all cannot integrate for all available services. Imagine a tourist taking HSR to KL and what should he do in Bandar Malaysia station when he need to go to Penang? HSR to Putrajaya sentral and use ERL to TBS, from TBS you'll have bus to penang.- Assume if KTM ETS is ready then he need to go to KL Sentral to hop on KTM ETS service - If take bus then he need to go to TBS Correct me if i'm wrong HSR to Putrajaya sentral and use ERL to KL Sentral, from KL Sentral you can have KTM ETS |

QUOTE(HarpArtist @ Apr 2 2015, 06:55 PM) how to make the $$ in front of the planners eyes go away..? just try living in alamdamai/pandan for a month. look at how badly mrt is needed there, for real locals living in KL and contributing to KL for their whole lives. as opposed to future mythical Singaporeans arriving on a proposed HSR or ghosts living in an empty field called bandar malaysia. trx is already super behind schedule even with all its partners and financing. mrt corp can probably build mrt 5 by the time bandar malaysia peeks over the fence. and they say 2 stations for bandar malaysia... for construction workers is it? madness... this mrt is to boost the under develop area.. not for matured area.. matured area already a self sustain area... so they can live by themselves.. while the under development area need booster to sell all the projects.. cheras need to rebuild, as its very unplanned and very messy... the road are very narrow, even bomba difficult to access... now you see the bandar malaysia as a ghost town, but once the transport connectivity are convenient, ppl will tend to move in.. |

QUOTE(HarpArtist @ Apr 2 2015, 09:25 PM) sorry boss no disrespect but i really really have to disagree with 2 of your points Yes, I understood your feeling... At here, do you think serving people first, or serving the pocket first? 1mdb already executed, and there is no other way to boost this new township.. and they dont want to see this project fail too, as it cost billions dollar project.1) if mrt is not for matured areas, what are matured areas supposed to do? collapse under their own weight? what is the lrt doing going through pj? brt in sunway? mrt in damansara and kota dmanasara? aren't those very well matured areas? singapore's first 3 mrts served the dense population areas and were successful in ridership. the newer circle line passed thru reclaimed lands, relocated graveyards etc that were earmarked for new devs. end up until now, half of this circle line stations is still empty even at rush hours. 2) its not just my eyes seeing BM as a ghost town. the writing is on the wall,1mdb dont even have the resources to clean their own shit up let alone build a totally new township that kl doesnt really need as wehave a glut already. rerouting mrt 2 will FORCE bandar malaysia to be built at any cost, usually us rakyats cost. if 1mdb had that finance they wld serve us much better to kickstart mrt 3. Its not totally disregard the cheras stations, its just being added to MRT 3, 4, or 5, nobody knows.. By postponing cheras stations, life still going on there... and if no booster for bandar malaysia, how many billions will be struck there? If you are at their point of view, what will you do? will you let 1mbd collapse? |
