QUOTE(ToshibaM100 @ May 14 2013, 10:41 PM) Don't try it. It just makes your period goes wrong. Healthiest way isto do exercise regularly especially when you know your period is coming soon. Do more abdominal exercise. That will reduce your period pain greatly. Or, you can try to eat panadol when you really cannot stand the pain. |

I heard that period cramps are usually happens cause the woman's uterus is too narrow. The best way for that is to get pregnant. Not sure how true that is. lol.

I personally don't believe that any magic drinks will help you but just don't drink cold drinks. If the pain becomes too bothersome, buy some NSAIDs (Mefenamic acid, ibuprofen etc - ask your pharmacist) and take it with food.

When I have this problem, I used to lay on my bed for the whole day.
I put hot water (measure: a cup of hot water) in a plastic water bottle and roll or press the bottle on uncomfortable zone. It reduces period pain pretty fast. Another tips from my friend is to drink hot tea (without sugar) on the first day to third day of your period time. Must drink while it's hot. in my case, i don't consume anything when I have period pain. I found out that it doesn't suit me well. |

I used to have period cramps too and it is less severe as you grow older. I don't have it anymore but a great tip would be avoiding cold drink/ice. You can have ice-cream once in a while, but keep your inside warm as much as you can. It works for me.
And I didn't eat any pills. Just avoid cold stuff =) and slowly, no more period cramps! |

Menstrual pain is one of the common symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS). This is considered to be normal as it occurs due to the contraction of uterus during menstruation. For relieving menstrual pain, I use EmrysHome & Flexwarm Menstrual Pain Relief Heat Belt every time I felt some pain, and I got better after that, this belt is a uterus warming belt which can heat up by far-infrared intelligently and is also washable and portable, girls can have a try.
