as much as I wanted Dortmund to win, Bayern deserved to win.. they have a very good squad, hardworking and talented.. difference between both is just depth of the squad..

Gundogan was superb during the game. He made Schweinsteiger look tame and lost, probably because he got injured while warming up.

They say Spain has good collection of goalkeepers, but after last night's match it has become more evident that Germany has better group of them. Neuer is just
a monster of a goalie. Then again last night's match was quality. Nothing of the park your bus tactic, all attacking, good techniques and passing from both sides. Then again both teams are in good form, minus Goetze. If United is in similar form as Bayern all season long, we could perhaps have a chance. Bayern just has that quality, talents, strength in depth and experience in all departments. United just need one or two experienced talents in the squad and we should be ok. Cleverley is still a potential talent there, but can't see him playing in big games for now. Anderson is there but just can't get him fit and play for 90 minutes, let alone all season long. Can't wait to see what kind of tactic will DM instill onto the players to play with. |

QUOTE David Moyes will make Marouane Fellaini his first signing at Manchester United. And the new Old Trafford boss is brokering a peace deal to keep Wayne Rooney at the club. Moyes will raid former employers Everton to land the Belgium star in a £24million deal. And the Scot has made keeping Rooney his top priority – and could even meet the player this week to settle any grudges the England striker had with predecessor Sir Alex Ferguson. There is now a growing acceptance at the club that Rooney did not ask for a transfer when he met Ferguson last month. Ferguson twice repeated his claim that Rooney wanted out. But the player’s advisers have insisted the striker was only voicing his concerns about the way he was being deployed. Moyes has now made it clear he is excited by the prospect of linking up with the player to whom he handed an Everton debut at the age of 16. Outgoing United chief executive David Gill seems to accept that there had been a misunderstanding on Ferguson’s part, having said on Friday that United wanted the player to stay. With two years left on Rooney’s £250,000-a-week contract, much will still depend on whether an extended deal can be agreed. Both Chelsea and London rivals Arsenal have the Liverpudlian at the top of their summer wish-lists. Once Moyes has settled Rooney’s future, he can concentrate on landing his own top target, Fellaini. The Belgium midfielder has a £24million buy-out clause in his contract and that will not be a problem to the champions. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/tra...arrival-1911150 So did he / did he not asked for transfer? |

In this case, some misunderstanding must had happened because SAF said that in his post match interview that he asked for transfer. |
