Looks like Vive will not be released in Malaysia anytime soon: https://www.lowyat.net/2016/119125/exclusiv...ysia-this-year/After this news I think I'll get CV1 instead, the touch controller looks more ergonomic and I can get them separately if cost is a concern.

For those who bought Vive/Rift from outside, did you have to pay custom once it arrived in Malaysia? If so, how much?

I'm getting a used CV1 now for quite a cheap price from the US, not sure if I have to pay for custom since one of the point in their FAQ is that electronic device "might" be duty free. Let's see.

You send it to Malaysia? where do you buy it from? Do you have to pay additional custom?

So I'm guessing it's unit price + U.S tax + shipping fee from forwarding address to malaysia + 10% import + 6% gst, right?
Planning to get one as well somewhere in feb.

Cool, so from the order date till it arrived to you, how long does it take? do you have to go to custom to pay or is it in the post office? are you in KL area? So many questions.
