Ya, I am tempted , but it's from overseas so I am skeptical abit. Scared DOA device...I always bad luck when ordering electronic stuff online. DOA monitor, motherboard, ram, and GPU before...need send warranty the next day  sweat.gif

Anyone have experience ordering the Wireless receiver for the Vive from Amazon ?

Any Kastam risk + extra charge I need to anticipate ?

Got a 2nd hand Vive and wish to make it wireless haha.

it's unlikely you'll need to pay extra if buying from Amazon
the kastam charge will be calculated when you check out from Amazon, so you would have already paid for it
you'll only need to pay once, won't be any extra charges when it arrived in M'sia

only thing you might need to worry is sirim/MCMC certification, but again it's very unlikely.

but can't decide between 64Gb and 256Gb

is 64Gb sufficient or would 256gb be too much? hmm.gif

As mobile apps are still quite light, 64gb is still okay ish.
But if ur going to be putting lots of movies/3d/360 videos for trips, or intend to keep lots of apps/beat saber songs installed, then go for the 256gb.
But imho really 64gb is still ok ish to last for 2-4 years till the battery is dead or outdated.

thanks, that helps a lot, guess I'm gonna grab the 64gb version then, use the rest of the budget for the accessories which aren't cheap

btw, what are the average sizes for most of the apps and 3D movies?

Beat saber is about 700+mb but custom songs will add on alot. Arizona sunshine(one of the longest coop game) is <5gb.
Richie Plank is <500mb.
Good quality 3D stereoscopic movies will be about 2gb each? Going too high resolution is redundant due to the limitation of the hmd's resolution.
If ur into 360 cameras, then ull probably consume the storage pretty quick.

so mostly about mobile apps sizes, if that's the case, 64Gb definitely is more enough for me already thumbup.gif
