Amazon also deliveres both headsets to doorstep. The cost between oculus rift and and acer wmr is about 399(+ 70 for 360 degree tracking)usd vs 250 usd.
He ask for the cheapest hmd and he has gtx 1050ti
Although both headsets and further lower their minimum spec to gtx 1050TI now, i would expect oculus to perform slightly better bcoz it has less pixel to deliver, at cost of resolution and sde.

But now to think of it, he dint say to exclude those lower cost vr hmd without positional tracking. Do u have suggestions?

i'm using 970 on the rift..the 1060 maybe around 10% quicker than 970. If youre in budget for me ok la 1060 but otherwise wait till the new nvidia RTX come out and buy used 1070ti at least 
some games like Lone Echo or even the new Oculus Home 2.0 menu is getting too slow frame rate and getting too much stutter.

I am buying a new pc soon, do I need a very good graphic card to watch vr movie or clip? Or I only need a good one only for gaming?

Also do I need to get a card with USB c (virtuallink)? Seems for the future but I am not going to change the gpu unless broken down or after 5 years min.
